For those who are not aware, the Group holds an 80% interest in a gold mineral JORC resource
of 2.97Moz (at 2.43g/t based on a cut-off grade of 0.5g/t) in Zani-Kodo northeast DRC. The
licence areas have the potential to host world-class gold deposits and are located between the
Kibali Project (Randgold — 22Moz) and the Mongbwalu Project (AngloGold/Ashanti). The
potential to build a major gold resource is significant. In time, the Group intends to fully exploit its
1,605 square kilometres of mining rights and if gold remains over $1,300/oz, this resource may
come to define the Group’s true long-term future.
