Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
No problem MOS.... although it came as a bit of a surprise as I only found it by virtue of them asking to follow me on Twitter ...
So it may be that I’ve simply done as they predicted - but to what aim; either a roundabout way of ramping or perhaps not
who knows, either way the webinar is only a couple of weeks away and then we can all look forward to the half yearly results as the next opportunity for good news
Off out for a drive with the top down

Westminster Group Plc

$665,000 Contract Award - Fever Screening & Sanitiser Stations
Westminster Group Plc (AIM: WSG), a leading supplier of managed services and technology-based security solutions worldwide, is pleased to announce that its Technology Division has been contracted to provide a leading global investment management corporation with a range of fever screening and safety equipment for deployment to its worldwide offices as part of its 'Return to Work' programme.
The contract, valued at c.$665,000 USD, includes the provision of a range of fever screening systems covering different applications together with sanitisation stations to 85 offices in 37 countries around the world. We expect to complete this order within the next few weeks.
Commenting on the contract award Westminster's Chief Executive Officer, Peter Fowler, said:
"Westminster is a trusted brand in the provision of fever screening and associated equipment, having been supplying such equipment for many years. Since the COVID-19 outbreak we have seen a significant increase in demand for our services and have been assisting companies and organisations around the world with their screening and safety requirements. This is all the more likely now as countries around the world begin to ease restrictions and businesses and organisations look to put measures in place to enable a safe return to work.
"I am delighted therefore that Westminster has been selected to provide screening and sanitisation solutions to one of the world's leading investment management companies, which is a testament to Westminster's global reach.
"The coordinated logistics of delivering the equipment to 85 offices in 37 countries presents an interesting challenge and I am impressed with how our team has risen to the task.
"Whilst fever screening and associated equipment is just one facet of Westminster's worldwide security and safety business, we believe demand for these services will continue for some time and represents a real opportunity for our business in today's 'New Normal'."
I’ve been corresponding with PF over the last few days regarding the RNS last week.
One area of my concern was the TEMA contact and he was kind enough to allow me to paste his reply here which was as follows;
“One point worth noting regarding our Ghana project - We do have a signed Technical Partnership Agreement relating to this project in place with Scanport since March 2019 and the main contract with MPS was signed in March 2020 naming Westminster as the Technical Partner for the duration of the project (renewable 5 year terms) and so there is nothing more needed to be signed contractually. We intended to update the Technical Partnership Agreement to reflect some of the operational requirements but given the Coronavirus situation, this is not considered important and does not alter the contractual or financial arrangements in place, it’s a nice to have rather than must have.“
Hopefully this clarifies matters for some on this BB
Off out to get some new darts
You've hit the nail on the head Foxy. The market needed an update on Covid sales and TEMA and without that, it can only be assumed that no progress at all has been made! Have you considered writing to Peter and telling him to up his corporate communications game?
Surprised More wasn made of this
"We have recently secured exclusive rights to specialised medical vending machines for use in the UK to be used for dispensing packs of face coverings, sanitiser and other safety equipment for deployment at key locations around the and transport hubs country and we are already in discussions with major transport organisations."
That's gotta have quite an impact on the share price on its own
IMHO
Thanks mike, I wasn’t sure as I couldn’t find similar for last year.
Good to know it will include Q1 trading update plus hopefully a little bit more on when or why TEMA hasn’t been signed
GLA LTH and keep healthy
So we finally get a positive RNS ... but it’s accompanied by a share price which almost at its lowest ever
The markets recovered today and surprise surprise WSG are down
Whatever next .... so much for “ you wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend “
