I think the lack of news has a bearing. But to a layman like myself, there is no logical reason why the bid should almost half in a week. 3 block sells totalling 15k should have no correlation with the fall in share price. has anyone had any contact? obviously the Brazilian economy is in dire straits at this minute, but after much fanfare and the further option on tungsten, nothing since has been mentioned. I thought this wad good value in mid-late teens, and now seems plane bonkers. Tungsten and HH exposure. Will be adding slowly as I do believe this still has potential to bag or 2, certainly from these levels
Quick look of your history suggests you have been badly burned in the past here? I can understand and have sympathy for all longtermers as shareholder value has been decimated. As someones relatively new to PAA it does now appear the company has taken much needed steps to restructure the business, reduce headcount and streamline operations. The catalyst of which was losing the golf rights. PAA's mcap today sits at less than £300k and as I pointed out earlier, this is a highly speculative company to invest in. However, the potential gains on a risk reward basis are huge. PAA has been on my radar for sometime, and the first shoots of recovery I have been looking for is the announcement of new events generated from restructure of the music biz. That has now started to gain traction and as we stand today there is still potential for a future golf deal, as well as further music events TBA. As with all AIM shares there is a large degree of danger, but for a newcomer like myself I can see signs of optimism and reward based on the restructure and subsequent announcements of new business. I will be holding. GLA
Need to remember tiny mcap here - the business has been beaten down and a business model that relied on the golf. PAA have reduced staff costs and re-focussed the business on music events and to their credit we have seen 2 separate announcements in the past month or so. Surely that is progress, look at the artists mentioned, it is a big deal, especially for a company with such a small mcap The owner has made several loans to the company and is not likely to see his own holdings diluted at these levels. Is this highly speculative? YES of course. But even a moderate amount of progress on the music front can see this bag. Even 300% from here would take it to £1m! DYOR and GL
Can't believe this went unnoticed yesterday. Massive potential here
Agreed, have been in PAA for a couple of months now Certainly seems a lot more positive for long term shareholders now that the music business is delivering. Still hopeful somethi might come from the golf, but understand that is a long shot, if you forgive the pun!
Music business is hotting up. Tiny tiny mcap £270k and limited float. Looks like the business is headed back up.
