I think the drill results today on their own won't convince anyone. Standalone, people will see 0.3% and ignore.

You need to understand the overall picture for the context (deeper extension of higher grade crown, low extraction costs due to open pit, adding value to an existing model that assumed dead ground, etc.) and the people who understand that are already invested.

It is going to take a 'stand-alone impressive' drill result or an RNS that explains the above context very clearly to create a quick jump. Otherwise, I think the price will rise gradually over time as the word spreads.

I stand corrected :) I wondered to what extent country of residence was based on 'country where I would like to be taxed so I maintain an address' vs 'country where I actually live' so I checked it out.

The UAE has no income tax or capital gains tax for individuals. It also looks like once you have 'tax resident' status, there are minimal requirements to be in the country. One site I found quoted "The United Arab Emirates work with the following regulation: your resident visa can only be declared invalid, if you have spent more than 6 months, in one stretch, outside the UAE."

All CB companies are all based in London (because there is corporate tax in UAE). I would guess he is 'tax resident' in the UAE but doesn't actually live in the UAE.

I think the UAE story was spread by Pops1980, a creepy guy with multiple accounts who stalks Colin on several bulletin boards. I believe CB resides in Portugal, but happy to be corrected.

I just checked BMR and its a private company. It hasn't been listed on AIM for three years. It looks CB is involved as a result of their joint venture (more like a takeover) with Jubilee, which happened just before the de-listing. No RNS since then as they are no longer required. On brief reading, looks like a very good deal for Jubilee and a terrible situation for BMR, but I'm not sure you can blame that on the person running Jubilee at the time.

Yes, I agree with that too. I don't think there is any intention to mislead. He is just very enthusiastic and I believe the LTHs are aware of that and make allowances. I certainly do :)

Yes, true. I am very happy overall with CB management of XTR. I just find the unnecessary optimism a little frustrating :)

Setting an expectation that isn't met is far worse than simply setting a less optimistic expectation in the first place. The latter seems to be happening now with bushranger drilling reports, as we have had some pleasant surprises on assays (maybe the RNS are written by AUS team), but CB still seems keen on optimistic timelines in general.

Closing Price 5.85. Looks like it is down, but this should have been the closing price yesterday, except for a small UT.

Unusually, all seven MMs kept the same 'official' bid-ask all day. Not seen that for a long time. I think we are in a new consolidation phase (similar to the lows 5s) which may last a few days before the next leg up.

Good research. Did you miss the placing less than a week ago to fund the drilling?

The close at 6p was an outlier. Official bid-ask was 5.7p to 6p and true was about 5.76p to 5.87p.

The 6p was caused by a small UT trade of 12k shares. When the price drops tomorrow on open, bear in mind the real closing price should have been the mid-point of 5.85p.

The AGM RNS for Bezant and Galileo are out today and they have exactly the same incentive text. Looks like CB is implementing this in general, rather than just for XTR.

This one concerns me a little. Is CB saying that they will sell as soon as they hit 2mt, without drilling to see if they can double or triple that before selling?

I'm not sure what you mean. Thousands of people work for the same company as me and they all get annual bonuses and share options. The max % of annual salary for the bonus is dependent on seniority but everyone qualifies for the bonus. 50% of the bonus is based on personal performance and 50% on company. Discretionary bonuses are less common, but not rare.

It won't last long :) I'm repeating myself but Telegram but i think worth mentioning on here.

I have an annual bonus of up to 75% of salary, but I have been given discretionary bonuses (most years) and share options on top of that. That is for a 'normal' job with no prospect of selling the company. In this case, XTR have employees who are effectively working on an objective (selling Bushranger) that may cost them their jobs. The company need to ensure good packages and employee relations in this situation.
