I'm so glad you are posting this on the boards of all miners with assets in Russia as this clearly applies to them too. They all need to know!
Oh wait, you aren't! Why is that?
Why didn't you raise this concern at the AGM?
Please leave this board in peace and just come back if the doom you foresee comes to pass
The interesting thing, should any offer come, will be whether we are told what the DFS values the company at vs the offer. (I.e. will we be aware of the potential war discount).
At least then, shareholders will have an idea of what value could be realised in a post war environment.
If shareholders are only told, offer of xxp, then it'll be a different kettle of fish
The big thing here is that the market seems unmoved by the AGM.
The market doesn't seem to care about the Rosgeo going. Nor does it seem to care for the positive comments from the board.
It also appears to be unconcerned about the court cases.
If anything, it seems concerned about the war.
Who is more likely to have the right opinion, Toffers or the market?
I wpuldn't be surprised if an acceptable ballpark figure was discussed and informally agreed at the time of the credible party RNS. Sure, this may have moved a bit due to the war and what not, but I expect all parties are on the same page so an offer could come rather quickly once everything is lined up and legal.
Roll on the next 5 months and see what materialises
I'd imagine it's the obvious reason that it is legally covered by NDA's to keep the party anonymous until an offer is made.
Not that you care, as you are always negative about the company.
Could have been a good question to ask at the AGM if you actually cared enough
