Spending money on sensible things is not the CEO’s style and now here we sit, with a bombed out share price and apparently not an ounce of good news to give it a fighting chance of getting in the ftse 250.

Another epic fail and yet the CEO sits atop of all of it , conflicted and shameless, having utterly failed in every aspect of being a CEO.

He simply has to go. There are plenty of far more capable CEO’s out there that can create value, he isn’t one of them and never will be.

The BoD can’t do anything at all about the chickens coming home to roost. There are no levers to pull which don’t involve sacking the CEO and useless chair.

If you constantly miss your numbers, pick fights you can’t win, develop a reputation for being useless and untrustworthy as well as a fool who spaffs money up the wall and surrounds himself with sycophants, this is what happens to your share price.

Ahhh kid has well and truly f’d it up and has nobody but himself to blame.

Would any other CEO keep their job with a 95% reduction is shareholder value over 5 years? .The only thing that comes close to being impressive is the sheer incompetence and lack of self-awareness.

Ingenuity has had millions invested into it. Automation is the way to greater profits. Robots aren’t paid salaries, NI, pensions or sick pay. Yes there’s maintenance costs and further capex but many many millions have already been spent and the value is there. Except major scrutiny of the Ingenuity deal by MA and the leveraging of any naughtiness to put MA into a better position.

Just my opinion but I don’t see how MA’s other investments are remotely as interesting or beneficial to the Frasers group as THG/Ingenuity.

We can only hope and pray that the CEO Conga will get rid of the Stan and Ollie of e-commerce, but it probably won’t. With Ingenuity, City AM, the hotels, the Spa and Wild Kong gone, there wasn’t much left to spaff a load of money on unnecessarily. It took a while but Moulding found a way. A proliferation of CEOs on CEO packages - ingenious, you can’t keep a good cash spaffer down.

Now if Moulding had fallen on his sword before or immediately after appointing somebody who is hopefully more capable than him, we might applaud.

But his ego wouldn’t allow that so it will be more of the same (missed numbers, excuses, jam tomorrow) and the sp will stay in its current hopeless trading range.

The problem with THG is the CEO who is atop the CEO pyramid and until that’s fixed, the sp won’t ever get fixed.

Moulding, the Stan Laurel of e-commerce will hold THG back until he exits. Nobody likes him in the city or trusts him to deliver the numbers.

His ego and arrogance are a big part of why the sp is where it is.

He needs to go and so too does his lame duck of a chairman.

Disappoint with your numbers and your sp is toast. Add in an uncertain economic outlook and here we are.

I agree that JD is a good company but I’m far from convinced that the CEO is up to it.

Aka now we’ve been forcibly removed from the THG remainco tit, we are cost cutting or else we will go bust. I’m glad all the vanity projects have been shoveled into Ingenuity and are no longer having money thrown at them on the whim of the worst market ceo out there. Alright ah kid?

My suspicion is that ah kid Moulding was forced to take his conglomerate dreams out the door so nutrition and beauty could focus on their knitting without propping up his vanity projects.

Let’s hope he follows them out of the door because his exit would undoubtedly raise the sp and be a nice end to dry January.

The demerger means Moulding’s go to place “Ingenuity is going to smash it and I’m super excited about some whales” is no longer an option.

The jam tomorrow hope now rests on a VAT tribunal case barely advanced and a long way from being won.

Look over here everybody, don’t look at the nutrition numbers or the failed rebrand, look at some jam tomorrow VAT rebate which might materialise within the next 3 years.

Expect to hear about nutrition advent calendars on the update, and how Moulding is super excited about the prospect of selling 50 units which will make not a jot of difference to anything.

It’s time to bring in Gerald Ratner, he would be 100 times better, especially on the investor calls, we might be down to only a 20% decline in the share price if Gerald was at the helm as he’s an amateur when it comes to trashing a share price compared to good old Matt.

Nutrition numbers are awful, it is seriously declining.

Moulding should go, he has completely failed on any analysis. He is not a capable CEO and he is viewed as a spiv. It’s the usual jam tomorrow promises with no strategy. He should be removed along with the useless chairman.

There is value to unlock here but the Laurel and Hardy of e-commerce are not the ones to do it.

When the numbers arrive, the charlatan will be “super excited” with yet another set of dismal numbers. He will again be “super” pleased with another appalling performance and will promise more jam tomorrow as he tells us how “super excited” he is about 2025.

After years of talking about whales (if he was running a whale spotting tour, that would be almost bust too), and Ingenuity, the revolutionary tech platform which sucked the life out of THG and which was as much interest to whales as an explosive tipped harpoon, I do wonder what he will incoherently drone on about now.

This is all the more so now that his “go to” place when he is deflecting and avoiding, the THG advent calendars, are out of season.

It really is time for the hopeless and hapless CEO and the mute chairman to go. They are the Stan and Ollie of the stock market and the share price will only have a chance of improving with a competent and focused management team at the helm.

JD didn’t regularly disappoint with its numbers when Peter Cowgill was at the helm. The SP is too often being knocked backwards by the low end of range numbers. I can’t see the sp changing much over the next 12 months.

Nice to see the clown show continues unabated. No news and the share value destruction continues into the 30’s as the clowns flail about.

Clown ExtraOrdinaire (CEO) is being widely booed because he promised to throw some sweets into the crowd but tripped over his big clown feet and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Has anybody ever seen a worse CEO than this? Imagine what THG might become with a proper city focused/friendly and savvy CEO at the helm.

The demerger plan looked undercooked and underprepared which isn’t altogether surprising when you’ve a track record of attending investor calls and trying to “wing it”.

These delays suggest it was seriously undercooked so the promised circular hasn’t arrived and the uncertainty and confusion has only served to highlight the gross ineptitude of the BoD and the share price has been mauled as a result.

Now you might be able to forgive the lack of acumen of a pumped up and over promoted CD salesman, but you can’t forgive the allegedly experienced chairman who should never have allowed this.

It really is unforgivable.

Could this be the day when the BoD incompetence ends or will it be another day of shareholder destruction? The CEO must go even if they do publish something to stop the rot, he has no credibility and proved himself to be absolutely useless in every single area.

Moulding is an abysmal CEO and is responsible for the destruction in shareholder value. He rejected Apollo on the basis its bid seriously undervalued THG in his mind at least.

The world and his dog have been blamed for his amateurish performance and now this abomination of a share price sits at around 46p with only his mum and brother saying “well done ah kid”.

I see very little scope for improvement under Moulding, he is absolutely hopeless - see what Warren Buffett says about dangerous CEO’s below. It’s as if he had Moulding in mind when he wrote it.
