It seems to me that Ukraine have not had or been given enough tools and equipment to really take the fight to Russia. Waiting for air defences, ammunition, Jets and so on. Russia had so much forewarning of Ukraines counter offensive that they had loads of time and manpower to build formidable defenses for Ukraine to get through to get any territory back. Must have been(and still is) an absolute nightmare wading through minefields whilst being shot at and God knows what horrors the soldiers have seen and encountered. That's on both sides by the way as there are plenty of Russians and now Korean soldiers either dead, mained and/or severely traumatised probably for the rest of their life. If NATO and USA had gone in hard first as last then maybe Putin would have got a bloodied nose and realised he had bitten off more than he can chew. We will never know. However we are where we are, this whole nightmare has obviously been brewing for a long time and is a tragedy that in this day and age opposing sides cannot except their differences and reach a deal to suit each other's interests before this mass blood shed. The thousands of soldiers used as cannon foder alone is surely a disgrace to humanity. If Trump is the guy that can help bring this to an end then and secure Ukraines sovereignty then so be it. Hopefully all sides can get around the negotiating table and come to some sort of agreement. No one wins in wars and it seems few lessons of the past are learned. Let's just hope this is over sooner than later. We all want eua to do well and make a decent return on our investment but the human cost and suffering here has been and still is iunimaginable.
