i would not be concerned unless you trade CFD, Spread bet with stops or forex. but if you do, if your equity is less than 50% of your margin...i.e... equity £50,000, margin £100,001....then you will instantly have your trades closed regardless if in profit or loss.

or something like that anyway. dont use stops is the advice from most people. they are a waste of time.
