Basically, I had to cover it today or forced closed out tomorrow. I knew it was happening, but thought it was for new open bets and not existing bets in profit.

I covered it no problem. But I don't see we why we need to do it on open positions running profit.

I just got a hefty demand for margins on open positions with IG.

I can see a lot of forced sells tomorrow if some can't pay up. Bit cheeky to do it out of hours.

you are all forgetting that newcrest are banking on this to revive telfer production. almost desparate. GH knows this. the perceived value of what could be in the ground is a lot more than 10p. do the math, look around....supply and demand is very much the game here

all this information will slowly trickle into the market. and as long as the mm don't rush the sp to and beyond 4p. it will hold.
