50p soon is possible...28 Aug 2020 16:00
Added more this week, why?
1. 2006 – Share price was around 55p on average, long term holders likely averaging around 70p to 110p.
2. Jan 2018 – SP reached over 180p, however the SP reduced due to their drug not being any better than placebo (potentially due to such a small sample size).
3. November 2019 – SP reached over 28p (from its lows of 7p) – This was after Avion Pharmaceutical’s deal to fund a second phase 3 study. Avion Pharmaceutical invested $25m.
4. May 2020 –The potential of Lupuzor against Covid 19 - further positive news on this will see a huge rerate in the SP. Lupuzor considers T-Cells. There have already been many Pharma companies that have drugs which target the T-Cells and shown positive signs against Covid 19, i.e Heat Biologics and Tonix Pharmaceuticals (DYOR).
5. June 2020 – Look at the Proactive investor interview with Tim McCarthy (the chairman), you can see Tim’s face when discussing the second phase 3 trial. If there were any signs of a failed phase 3 or if something went wrong with the trial, the company will have to update the market immediately. This is a larger study and will hopefully show the drug has a better response compared to placebo.
Considering the current stage of the company, we believe it is severely undervalued. 50p or more is possible in the next 2 weeks. We believe a successful second Phase 3 could see the SP easily retrace back towards 180p, and even more. The company are a few years away from commercialising a product, Avion Pharmaceutical would not blindly invest $25m if they did not see the potential of the drug being successful in a larger placebo, nor discuss potential commercialisation figures. Also, Lanstead Capital Investor would not continue to invest into the company if they did not believe in it.
Good luck all and stay safe.
