back in 2019 jw hosted an investor evening in leeds.

one of the investor questions raised was the issue of the protesters and how legitimate their concerns were.

jw mentioned how they claimed the dead zone on the sea floor caused by the brine dispersal would impact the puffins, as they eat sand eels. he then went onto say the puffins couldn't dive that depth as they weren't "super puffins "

a quick google search on the way home and we found out the normal puffins of islandmagee could definitely dive the several meters required .

this story has nothing to do with the current suspension, of course, but gives yet another example of arrogance, contempt and willing to tell investors any old bull dung!
