Well, just bought in this company.... lets see what happens over the coming months.

August 27, 2024 – Bavarian Nordic A/S (OMX: BAVA) announced today that Singapore’s medicines regulatory authority, Health Sciences Authority (HSA), has approved JYNNEOS® (MVA-BN) for prevention of smallpox and mpox disease in adults 18 years of age and older determined to be at high risk for smallpox or mpox infection.

This marks the transition to a full approval for JYNNEOS in Singapore, where like in many other countries, the vaccine was made available under emergency use provisions to mitigate the last mpox outbreak.

“The recent declaration from the World Health Organization (WHO) that mpox again represents a Public Health Emergency of International Concern highlights the importance of removing barriers for access to approved vaccines all over the globe, and we are pleased to add Singapore to the list of countries where our smallpox and mpox vaccine is now approved. We continue to work with regulators in other countries as well to further broaden its access. Importantly, we are currently supporting the WHO Emergency Use Listing process and the Africa CDC to ensure rapid availability of the vaccine in the African continent, where prophylactic solutions are urgently needed,” said Paul Chaplin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bavarian Nordic.

Just catching up on Mpox news and apart from Africa, Phillipines & Sweden, Asian countries with large populations such as China, Japan, India and South Korea are now reacting to the WHO concerns about it spreading, and are starting to monitor the potential increase of the virus.

These countries should get in contact with Bavarian Nordic (ASAP) and place orders so they can ramp up production. As at the moment it seems that they are the sole provider of the vaccine for the Clade 1 variant.

I had two choices to invest in Mpox Vax companies and chose Nordic. The other one I considered went up 47% yesterday.

Oops... anyway hopefully this will flourish in the next few months.

The greenies had an agenda and ruined the chances of UKOG growing in the oil sector, they were relentless and cost the company a lot of time, money and effort, so thanks to that lot of nimbies.

A change in direction was the best option to grow this company, and now with three letters of intent and Gov backing it's in a far better place than in the last 4 or 5 years. Chin up LTH's lets see how this develops.

At least they are working in the background. If you don't like SS or the company why buy in the first place? just sell up and do one. Or hold tight and wait, granted it will be a long wait but it's either that or sell at a loss.
