My reasoning being that if Syme performs spectacularly then further down the line cash out and have a ridiculous war chest for some serious further ventures.

Someone posted on an earlier thread James should take a look at investing in SYME.
The concept is workable (already functioning) the potential is massive. With a stake of this sort of magnitude it may be the rocket to the moon for the Vela SP.
James I feel sure would have at least looked at it.
It is exciting simply because its an unknown quantity at the moment.
AAA SP is about 7p or thereabouts. Can lightening strike twice?

Take SYME out of the equation for a second. If someone offered you for an outlay of 20 grand (approx 4million shares at current prices) A million quid return in 4 years time for sitting on your arse and doing absolutely nothing, would you take it? Course you fricking would. You'd bite their bloody hand off.
So, please accept that it may take that long or perhaps longer and show some restraint. It's still potentially the best deal you may ever get in your lifetime.
Don't be in a rush to get there, looking up new motors and foreign villas, that may eventually cause you to push the sell button too early and not get to light the fat cigar. Chill, and live your life within your means. If needs must, take your stake back and slice a bit on your way. But don't lose sight of the big prize, the really BIG prize.

My target is 20p , if it takes three or four years, it takes three or four years years, but I'm gonna feel so much better when I reach it. Warren Buffet is right when he says the Stock Market rewards those who show patience.
Realistic expectations will enable you to find that inner patience.
