Minutes of JZC all here

Anyone have views on current sp. Seemed to have crawled our way off the 4p level (mind you I thought that about 5p) so kinda guesssing we have seen the lows in recent action assuming no disastrous news. I did buy more around 4.10 level wearing my rose tinted glasses but still a penny underwater hoping for a good run towards COP26. GLA.
Had to laugh,on the actions list first item listed was to invite members to a private LinkedIn group.Hmmmm think there might be more important things really. Only 7 pages so a quick read.

It's difficult to say really what is the exact cause of the drop. I would like it to be the filling a big order but we are all just guessing. AIM being AIM is not a very liquid market by comparison with the main stocks and indices and has much fewer players which can facilitate this type of price action regardless of the motives. Sentiment also key and with Velocys management playing hide n seek regarding the recent fall in sp then potentially news on the way and as you say thurgarton loading the books up ahead of a climb. Hmmmmm. But if that news had been leaked and it was good then surely not a fall as far as this? Stock dilution possibly and as previously mentioned driving price down to by II's to get a better in cost. If Velocys is struggling to raise additional cash via a big investor then yes but market manipulation is heavily regulated in the main - I don't know if AIM is under that strict control - anyone? I have asked the Jetzero secretariat when minutes of the last meeting (30th June) will be published and they said soon on 16th July. Maybe find some info on sp in there? HMG need to get moving on environment etc with COP26 on the way as Boris wants to be a champion of the environment so fingers crossed for a bit fat cheque made payable to Velocys. GLA and despite saying I was full on this name I may just, just dip my toe in for some more.
Sorry HSD I should of made myself clearer. II's who may of got wind of a fundraising are selling up and as you say to buy back cheaper. Some pricings get the allotment price fixed at an average of x amount of previous days share pricee - let's say past 30 days as a number. So in order to get a cheaper lower in price they are smashing the price down. Pure speculation on my part. But sentiment as I said in a previous post is seemingly negative. GLA
Not a peep out of the management - not even a "we see no reason for the drop in share price". I agree with you Pixeleen regarding long term holding but either news is on the way and management are under a blackout to buy some shares for themselves (why wouldn't they?) or a funding round is on the way. Very frustrating all the same. One to put on my back book by the looks of it. Have bought more today but I think that is me done re exposure to the company. GLA fingers crossed blah blah. COP26 has a lot riding on it in many ways - not just this one company. Britain needs to deliver. Mini rant over ! (first time I've done one I believe)!
Whatever your view is the share price speaks for itself. Director buys right now would be a massive help - more than the paltry 10k they both spent last time I would hope - unless of course in blackout period as some groundbreaking news on the way (can dream) - maybe the sp is being cued up for a placement - getting the average sp down to make it attractive to institutional investors (again) - maybe VLS hasn't won any competition money (would be bad I assume) - who knows? But sp is down n dirty for a reason , yes XPB I do see you're point. If you have the faith great time to buy more - if you're a trapped long then unfortunate - AIM is a wonderful place to loose money as is all quite speculative. But can reap big dividends. I'm long at just over 6p and am thinking of buying more but fear we have further to drop with current sentiment. I hope not but no crystal ball here. GLA.

Getting there !
Beat me to it Mullins - looks ok eh ?
JAL have 218 planes in their fleet. The ones flying out of North America JAL intends to use Fulcrum Energy (they are invested with them) but most of their fleet refuels in Japan and they are now looking at alongside domestic companies at manufacturing and selling SAF. Seeing as they have just used FT technology via Velocys with TOYO Engineering to fly one of their planes then you never know they might just use them again eh......

Central to Boom's plan is for Overture to run entirely on sustainable aviation fuel (Saf).
That can take the form of "posh biodiesel" made out of everything from waste animal fat from the farming industry to specially grown high-energy crops, explains Dr Guy Gratton, associate professor of aviation and the environment at Cranfield University. But one big problem is that "the world is very far from having anything like the production capacity needed" to produce enough biofuel to power the entire aviation industry, he says.
Yep he's not wrong there !!
As far as I'm aware it goes to a committee to be looked over then has a vote and if passed goes to the Senate for approval/changes and if changes voted by both the House and the Senate. Not sure about a presidential order though as surely President B could do that. Trumpy boy seemed to do a few but surely must need backing aswell? But all helps in the move to SAF.
I think you can replay the meeting on the InvestorMeet website if you have time. Have to be later on for me but sp has recovered a bit so must of had some positives.
Velocys doing presentation of full year results via InvestorMeetCompany if anyone cares. Link below but you probably have to sign up under your own login and register to attend. Doesn't cost anything. It's on 25th May 10.00am. If I'm around I'll get on it.

There is a note in the final results "Certain information contained in this announcement would have constituted inside information (as defined by Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014) prior to its release as part of this announcement". This would of meant a black out period for any of the Velocys bods being able to buy shares prior to this announcement (1 month?) hence I guess the timing. But yes agree 200k shares is not a lot at all and would be good policy if they continued going forward.
