Hi Malva its not you who should be thanking me its me thanking you along with Bamps, Pete, Hydro and who else joins in with helpful insightful info you are all providing, I'm not a big fan of people just firing out numbers without providing info about what those numbers mean. I will admit when I read some of it goes right over my head but its still teaching us what Hav is all about so please all continue as its much appreciated. It would be great if you all managed to get into a webcast sometime with diagrams to point out what you all mean when mentioning all this info and maybe someday that could happen? I just like messing with numbers and posting to see where I'm right or where I'm going wrong as it how I find it easier to learn. Many thanks again.
Thanks for that indepth reply Malva, it helps alot when people post these sorts of calcs with an explanation. One thing I note that had also been mentioned is the tonnage, some think that it could be as much as 1 billion tonnes or more but lets just say that its 250mt then thats nearly 18x as much as the current 14kt for the 1.6moz reserves so using even just basic calcs and using the same IRR and AISC in GGP's PFS then that equates to $2.286 billion to GGP!
As mentioned thats just a very basic way to calculate it but it just shows how much potential Hav provides, I understand there are other factors that could change that figures such a lower AISC which has been mentioned, IRR, pog etc but it just helps me try to understand what Hav is. I will admit looking at the diagrams just leaves me scratching my head lol which is why I like to mess with the figures they provide and then after messing post them to see where I am going wrong as it helps me learn. I only mention 250mt due to what the size of the ore body looks like compared to what was used for the PFS, as has been mentioned so many times, its just a small fraction of what there is. I hae no idea how to actually calculate the possibel ore body tonnage though which is why its all very basic.
I suppose the point I'm trying to make is I'm trying to understand but theres still so much I dont lol!
Thanks for the reply again.
Bamps on the 11th October you put:-
"Initial sulphides to be removed 75x75x100m
That’s around 2.3m ton
370k oz
14,000t copper
That’s about $172m of revenue for Ggp in the first 18 months or $10m per month"
Now that we have some idea of the costs then are these figures more in line? Please correct me If I go wrong as I'm still learning how these all work out.
370koz x $1750 pog X .27 IRR X .25% GGP will own = $43,706,250 / 12 months $3.64m pm to GGP not including copper?
I'm just trying to get my head around all these figures we now know.
Thanks
I watched one of Rick Rules vids on YT and there was an option to send him your portfolio and he would rate it, below is his response when I sent him just GGP.

Hi *Me removed by myself,
Thank you for the honor and opportunity of grading and commenting on your natural resource portfolio. The grades are one through ten, with one being best. Please understand that these are company rankings, rather than investment recommendations. I believe that investor education and outreach are the most honest and effective forms of advertising, and marketing.
Please don't be discouraged if you find my rankings harsh...because they are! I've given out less than a dozen "one" rankings in three decades of analyzing resource stocks. Note too, that these rankings are snapshots in time, subject to rapid change, with new news, different markets, and changing share prices.
I've asked Mr. Steve Todoruk, an employee at Sprott Global Resource Investments, to contact you to answer any further questions you may have. Mr. Todoruk has had a long and successful career in mineral exploration, and mineral exploration finance. Originally from Canada, Mr. Todoruk was a consulting exploration geologist, and president of several public junior exploration companies before I was able to recruit him to Sprott.
We look forward to assisting you with your resource portfolio.
Sincerely, Rick Rule
Please note that rankings and comments provided herein are not investment recommendations. Specific recommendations are available to Sprott clients. These rankings are numerical, 1-10, with 1 being best. Note that the criterion is risk-adjusted reward, so that higher risk companies may still enjoy a more favourable ranking than lower risk companies, although they may be less suitable for individual portfolios. Comments accompany rankings where appropriate. Both comments and rankings are “snapshots in time” subject to rapid and unannounced change based on news or market conditions. My pov is that I HAVEN'T got a clue *YET what I'm reading so until someone explains it in a way we can all fully understand then all the insults is pointless, just wait until this is broken down into a more laymans (PFS for Dummies) guide which I fit into before anything else.
Its funny because I've always had an issue with people complaining when someone comes on a board and asks questions especially a question thats comes across as negative and then some pipe up with "Do you own research" Or go off on one calling them derampers etc! Thats exactly what they are doing, they are asking questions to get answers to things they may not fully understand when reading or researching themselves i.e THIS PFS. So give them a chance, dont attack, if you know the answer then provide it, its not hard and is called being civil.
Anyway film time, Another Round it is, thats the name of the film btw!
Just a quick message to say hope you lot have a good PFS release night, I'd day good luck but its not luck GGP needs its time, time to mature :) Lots of info will be known after tonight so its going to be a very interesting presentation.
@Ian_ Woe is me! Rather ironic you now play the sympathy card considering what you *actually wrote! Maybe have a read over your own posts then come back with a bit more civility. You're over 50 yet your viewpoint on society is so blinkered its sad, I've got a tip for you and then I'll leave it alone, instead of reading the tabloids or listening to the news how about doing some actual *research on the topics you are so blind to understand and maybe get out of Essex and go see the rest of the country to have a better opinion on things you clearly know very little about?
Btw I hate the Mancs yet I will never have a go at Rashford for what hes attempting to do, I noticed your post only included the Marcus donating part but left out the main bit so just for you I'll quote it here
"Marcus Rashford MBE is starting to get on my nerves!
He talks about food poverty in the UK ..... What!
He wants the temporary £20 awarded during the COVID pandemic to remain in place to help feed UK children!
Most kids I see are overweight, but mum has the latest iPhone or tattoo!"
Tarring everyone with the same brush shows the lack of morality you have towards anyone else, are there "Benefit scroungers"? 100% yes but dont make out that everyones the same, when you work in social care you realise just how hard some people are finding it and many of them neither smoke, drink or have a mobile! Struggles you haven't got a clue!
I left this board for a while due to the ignorance of some so you'll be happy to know I'm leaving it again, the stench in here is sickening but to all that hold EUA I hope it pays off for you all, I wont apologise for this rant as I feel it was well deserved.
Btw Ian I'll leave on this nautical note, you just hit the iceberg!
Ah ok, well if the PFS comes out good then you might hit that price soon, I hope you do :) Dont forget the MRE will almost certainly be a major positive due to the fact the the drills been hitting ever since last year so Havs obviously grown more. All you have to do is read the RNS's and you'll realise this, the proof of this is there which is why I feel ok saying it as its not ramping but factual UNLESS I have read the drill results and all the news from GGP and NCM wrong which I'm positive I haven't!
Just try to cheer up a bit, i understand your frustration but sometime its better to try to have a positive outlook and your whole mindset can change for the better, not just in regards to investing but in your personal life :)
I prefer to base % movements on the price I bought in at i.e buy in at 10p and share rises 100% to 20p you gain 100%, next day share rises 100% from 20p to 40p you gain 200% = total 300% rise on your initial investment so it all depends on what price you bought in at.
As for Monday I think it will be more of the same due to weekend hitting and some last chance buying in to hopefully profit from a good PFS but who knows? I honestly cannot wait for Monday night as its going to be very interesting viewing and then watch the action on Tuesday!
Well Ian you cannot say I didn't warn you! Your posts today spoke volumes about the type of person you are, a blinkered only child! Sad realy as I honestly thought you had more commonsense but nevermind you carry on living your perfect life, I'm sure those struggling to make ends meet wont bat an eyelid at your thoughts as they have more important things to worry about! Crazy world we live in!
What do you think Mondays sp action will be like considering what we have had already yesterday and today? With the PFS coming out on Monday night there will be limited time for people to buy in so will Monday be the busiest day of the 3?
Also I keep seeing people mentioning Basel 111 or something like that, what exactly is it about?
Ty
Ok fair point regarding revenue but due to NCM having Telfer then that takes away a massive amount used to calculate an AISC does it not? So Havs AISC will be far less due to this so even with my basic knowledge I cannot understand at all why the AISC would be anywhere near $1000 usd? It would take a monumental crash for gold to drop anywhere near that, wont say it cannot happen but something disastrous would have had to happen imo?
Anyway its like I mentioned earlier, Monday night will answer so many questions so maybe you should have waited until then to come and tell everyone GGP isn't worth its current value? What if they come with a AISC of far less than $1000 will you then say that even 25% of millions of oz a gold is worth more than £100 million?
Tuesday is going to be even more interesting!
Night everyone I'm off to watch last 3 episodes of True Detective season 1
LG its more to do with the dodgy stuff they get up to not the hard decisions that have to be made of which many are not just unfair but disgusting when made, I could go deeper into it but honestly dont want to go all political on this board as people dont want to read it so I'll leave it there plus it just ends up in people arguing which is not what I want to happen. People are here to read about EUA and how it can hopefully help them financially, I just wanted to mention it to Ian as he comes across as one of the rare sensible respected posters on these boards so getting involved in politics on here will only do himself harm.
Last post, off to the background I go (Until next time) ;)
