Plus did not increase the pensions of his employees

I am not at all impressed .

Greed comes to mind .He could have deferred his massive bonus at this sensitive time

As flying visits go, this one was pretty epic… such an honour to meet with His Excellency President El-Sisi and the Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla in El Alamein City. Why? Because bp and Egypt go way back – six decades and counting! And we’ve built a whole lot together since we signed that first agreement back in 1963…

Egypt is an awesome example of how we’re helping deliver energy the world needs today (along with our partners, we’re producing around 70% of Egypt’s gas). And – not or – we’re helping build a better, more balanced energy system, where we’re looking into green hydrogen. So tons to be proud of, tons more to do – and it was fantastic to hear President El-Sisi talk of collaborating even more closely.

My thanks to Nader Zaki and the brilliant team in Egypt for their amazing work. And here’s to the next 60 years! 😊
