Hi Mkiv. I hold physical metals and use my holdings the same as you used ETFs. I can sell a small fraction or all in seconds and take delivery if i wish. Physical gold is a very liquid market and a very very safe one. Why hold paper when it is just as easy to hold the real stuff. ATB Speedy

Hi Droverman. With India at 160 tons/mth add China, Russia, Turkey plus retail sales worldwide the monthly demand far outstrips supply. Approx only 2000 tons produced globally. The supply is coming from western central bank vaults and must be getting pretty low by now. The only way for supply to meet demand is to entice large holders to sell and that will have to be at a much higher price. ATB Speedy
