Current RNS' are not designed to appeal to us PIs with tidbits like "gas shows during drilling" as that is totally meaningless to a Major or National Oil Company. JP said several times that the flavour of future RNS' would change to reflect a more formal approach. If the logging identifies a produce-able zone it will be RNSed followed by completion and rigless, unstimulated test. Those type of RNS' will be of real value to potential suitors.

If we can flow gas to surface from either zone we are off to the races.

Not saying I like it but that is where we are on this harrowing journey.

Remembering of course that this is an exploration well and not (necessarily) a producer, otherwise it would have been a sub horizontal (not vertical) surely.

The original Oct 17 RNS proscribed 3022m and 35-45 days. We have hit TD at 2925m so that's nearly 100m shallower and much faster at 28 days. Gonna be an interesting Thanksgiving over on this side of the pond. GLA

RNS Oct 26 "The Company looks forward to updating investors on achievement of each of the second casing point (9 5/8" casing), the setting of a 7" liner (if required) and achievement of total depth."

RNS Nov 5 "The Company looks forward to updating investors on the achievement of total depth. Further announcements will be made, as appropriate, in due course."

So the setting of the liner, requiring an RNS is missing from the Nov 5 RNS. Why?

I am not sure we are looking for “commercial” flow rates as these are exploration wells. Vertical wells, not sub horizontal producers. Anything above about .75 scuffs would indicate that development wells should be commercial. BWDIK. Gas to surface is what we are looking for. GLA.

Wondering why Strider 4 is trying to deliberately mislead with statements like "HUM was already losing money hand over fist (some $20mil in the last quarter)." when it is a cash flow issue and not a profit & loss issue.

22,206 ounces of gold poured at an AISC, calculated on gold sold, of US$1,006/oz representing, as expected, a softer quarter due to the heavy rainy season.

20,029 ounces of gold sold at an average price of US$1,217/oz

So the AISC is calculated on 20,029 ounces. Had they sold all that was poured, the AISC would be US$907/oz.

Current price/MCap well below replacement cost of the mine itself. Give it 3 months.

Financial institutions with £125-150 mil in cold hard cash think the New SAVP worth £313 mil (35p) but 4 or 5 anonymous punters on here think it will trade down to 15p. We will immediately have CPR'd revenue of $88 mil.p.a. with a NPV10 of $548 mil. just from the Uquo and Stubb Creek fields. That's 46p. 3 drills in Niger, with only 2 successful should prove up say 50 mil barrels at $5.00 NPV per barrel is $250 mil or another 21p. Throw in another £115mil. (13p) for cash balance, 20% Accugas, R1, R2, balance of R3 and R4 and that is 80p by end H1 2018. Who knows, but most of this info in is the various RNS and presentations issued this year. Agreed the warrant overhang may put a damper on this.
