Good news thin on the ground

Dow closed above its downtrend yesterday. Seems Mad dog Mattis is the voice of reason.

The US's mixed strategy is all wrong & now dragging the UK into an unwinnable war. We're already on our arse after years of following them around. So now France comes along like a young mistress and the old wife is looking desperate.

Forgot to mention. China has been laying claim to the US controlled shipping lanes of the south China Sea & recently demonstrated their naval force. I'm sure they'd argue as by far & away the biggest player in the region, rightfully. My point is that these countries are more than a match for the US & it's allies. We're the agressors in all this & I'd argue that the Dollar is not a justifiable cause to risk WW111

This war won't help the Donald, his Base are against this globalist intervention. Antony globalisation is one of the reasons they voted for him, it appears all he is doing is renogotiating the terms. Given we know Iran & NK are members of the 'Axis of Evil', then of I'm those two, I'd be making a stand here. Iran will never be stronger with battle hardened allies in position and strong influence in Iraq. Turkey will not let the Kurds alone which could bring them into conflict with us. Turkey also has its own empirical ambitions. With the west distracted in the ME, there would not be a better time for the China backed NK to make a move. Russia & China, disillusioned with the dollars status & seeing weakness would fund & support our enemies. Russia may enter the conflict. So these regimes are not western style democracy 's but are they any worse than some of our allies? Do we really want to bankrupt ourselves and lose many lives to protect the US from themselves if the petrodollar collapses? Sure, our country is tied to the petrodollar system but ultimately, this war could expedite it's demise which would ensure self destruction for us. That's some of the risk here even before you mention Nuclear.

Anyway, it's looking like there'll have a multi million koz gold resource there when all said & done. Some if it at least looks commercial.
