The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
???????????
Must admit I got a little carried away at the 9p range with a top up......taken in a little by talk of a re-rate when we'd already undergone a re-rate!.....still, I'm an adult, nobody forced my hand.
But again, they only sold a fraction of their holdings.
I hope I haven't been burnt for the umpteenth time here.....still hoping this one is different!.....if not, will be packing my bags and leaving the investment world behind for good!
I've been saying to myself I should top up now to average down for weeks and keep holding off.....we're now at the price Stephen Parker paid last November.
I'm not selling anything EP so no rise expected, I'll let you know if I decide to sell then a swift rise will inevitably follow.
_TCO - Absolutely right, your second from last sentence especially, those things are all that matter in life at the end of the day.
Aberdeenman was a little off the mark with his 1000p plus predictions.
Utah, I hold a few other stocks in addition to this one, if I let you know which ones can you tell me what they're worth too please, I really could do with making some money.
Lots of comments on this bb, over 400 yesterday, which must mean I'm in the right place for the Nano Gold.........will we see the Nano Gold soon does anyone know?......I'm here for Nano Gold as well you see.
Absolutely but I didn't.
What technique would that be?........I invested here last July without doing any real research, just following a recommendation. Didn't even know about FEVR at the time.....that might seem unbelievable but it's the truth. I don't have much at stake, just noticed that it's seen some sustained drops and having recently learned about FEVR and the size of it was wondering what sets us apart. If you don't know then that's fair enough.
Genuine question from me...can you answer it?
Excuse my ignorance but how do we differentiate from FEVR?.........are we not trying to break into markets already taken?
It's likely to pass as a yes though isn't it?......realistically?. Could it be that most of those selling have been anti consolidation and those buying up pro consolidation?.....perhaps that's been the objective all along, to ensure it goes through as a yes.....I don't know s**t from custard by the way, just thinking out aloud....could it be that the SP movement has been orchestrated with that in mind?
I see it as an investment, like my holding in SAR, you can go on saying it's gambling if you like, no further comment from me on this subject now, I dare say you will have the final word, prove me wrong. :o)
Azz2020 - In that case I 'gambled' a hell of a lot more when I bought my house, no revenue, no profit, no contracts, no PR......when does it change from gambling to investing, it's just an opinion.
That's one way of looking at it, another way would be to say that we, along with Tim, ALL have a share in the ownership of the firm.......you can refer to shareholders as gamblers if you wish (if that strengthens your point) but investing £70K in my SIPP for the medium to longer term seems a bit different to handing over a tenner at Ladbrokes.
Azz2020 - GlenFidrich makes some valid observations and isn't suggesting anyone 'step down' as far as I can see but just that Sareum might do well to have someone else speak on their behalf.....I see no bullxxxxxx in the post.
.....and in spite of the expected / anticipated news, it's a little puzzling to say the least, unless someone knows something we don't.
