Hi Hopefullygold, I’ve had several communications with ST since 2020, and he has always suggested that Havieron will eventually prove to be 20M oz’s and above.

I’m pretty confident in saying that if ST has always supported the theoretical model of a 20M oz mine, I’m sure as one can be that both Newcrest and Newmont also knew. It’s one of the reasons I have held on for so long, so it doesn’t come as a surprise to me personally.

Hopefullygold, of course Newmont have had a whiff of it. We’ve all had a whiff of it since 2020 when it was first mentioned, and we are nobody’s in the scheme of things, but Newmont have their own Big fish to fry. There’s only so much you take on and I’m sure this wasn’t sold to us on a whim, unless of course it was a nice leaving present from Tom Palker, who of course is Australian !

I have never said or stated that I have 10 million shares post consolidation.

What I did state, if you’d bothered to read correctly, was that I was hoping to achieve 10M from my holding, of which I have never disclosed to anyone on this BB, and who’s to say I won’t achieve it, especially if Telfer extends its LOM for another 10yrs.

According to you I should have sold up back in 2020, and in hindsight you may have been correct, but just to let you know, my current holding is worth almost as much as it was back then, and will continue to grow rapidly from here on in. Something that may not have happened if I’d sold.

Try doing several several jobs, starting from a labourer/Pro golfer in which dreams were shattered due to a bad accident/HGV driver/Property maintenance/salesman/manufacturer/MD, that’s what I’ve done, not sat still since leaving school, not feeling sorry for myself when things haven’t gone to plan, dusted oneself down and got on with it and making some great decisions along the way.

You are obviously one of “those sort” that thinks everything should be handed to them instead of putting in the graft, and that’s why you lack so much when it comes down to positivity, and betterment of yourself. You just settled down to being one of life’s taker’s and not doers, whereby one betters themselves, and in doing so gives a little back by way of employment to others. Antigua, I don’t know about your circumstances but I can honestly say I have been well rewarded since investing here.

I for one did not vote for GGP to become an Australian entity because of the fact that the UK needs more and more profitable companies paying their taxes here, which in turn helps support paying for hospitals, schools etc etc !

All we have done is let the Australian government reap the rewards, and whether we are listed on AIM, ASX or LSE where there’s money, and plenty of it, manipulation in one form or another will occur.

It doesn’t matter what I, you or anyone else here thinks the SP should be, it is what it is, and as Dip says, all of us are just here for the ride now as we as Pi’s don’t control anything.

I obviously feel a lot more comfortable in my holding, as bought millions back in the day, and then bought almost as much again last year, so like I’ve said before, 10/20% per annum will do me very nicely.

I don’t particularly care what the green eyed folks like Freddie think of me, it’s not a popularity contest, it’s about ROI, and that’s all I focus on tbh. I don’t do any research at all on geological stuff because it’s not what I’m into, and I believe that the likes of Bamps and Hydro/E1 make available everything one needs to know.

I don’t particularly pay attention to the daily/weekly SP either, as I can’t easily trade my holding (not that I want to), as I do have a smaller trading pot that I can pull out funds if I need to.

Yes you are correct in saying the company has changed beyond belief since we first invested, and I only see it going from strength to strength going forward.

The news today couldn’t be better, and as has been said many times, where’s better to find gold, than around an existing gold mine.

I first mentioned about the Carlin Trend back in 2019/20 an area in Nevada USA that was discovered in 1961 which has subsequently led to many more discoveries in the area. After the Havieron discovery in 2018, I decided to invest quite a substantial amount believing that a similar trend could happen in the Patterson. Call it blind faith, but I still believe as does SD that the area will continue to produce more discoveries, and that’s why I’m here, because GGP are central to everything that now happens in the area.

I don’t profess to be anything I’m not, I’m not an expert in mining or investing, but I think I’m an expert in spotting good opportunities when they present themselves. Did luck play a part in my good fortune, you bet it did, as I wouldn’t have known about GGP if it wasn’t for a friend who told me about them after the Ernest Giles/Newmont debacle, but sometimes in life you just need a bit of luck.

We are now a tad over 19p ffs even after a slight pullback that had nothing to do with the fundamentals of what GGP are all about and more to do with a sell-off in paper gold.

Yes we our SP is down from the magnificent run we’ve all seen over the last few days, but come on, nobody expected the POG to go up quite so fast did they !

From entry onto the ASX, GGP are roughly up by 12% in what, three months. I’ll take that very nicely thanks very much. This isn’t a race to see how quickly we can get to a certain price, but a consistent and steady rise over the next months and years, whereby when you look back from whence we came, you’ll know you made the right decision in investing your hard earned into GGP.

Yes you’re smarting because you feel you’ve just had your backside spanked, but as life has taught you, the pain is very short lived and you’ll start to feel comfortable again very soon.

GGP has now become a very, very good investment for the mid/long term, but it’s not done to shabbily either over the short term, going off the last four months, and if it continues at this rate, even after two significant pullback’s, we’ll be seeing an increase in our SP of over 50% upon its first 12 months trading on the ASX. Now show me anyone that wouldn’t take that !

SD set up a company didn’t he to distribute shares to who thought fit. Now if we could sell shares direct to the company for gold coins, wouldn’t that be the best scenario for both seller & buyer alike. SD would then have complete control over who he then sells the sold shares to.

Maybe a bit out there, but could work.

Bellers now here’s a suggestion. We are all owners on a very small scale of GGP, so how about asking SD if he would consider getting the Perth mint to produce gold coins for GGP to sell direct to shareholders only. That way bypassing the middleman. I’m sure there would be plenty of takers, especially when it comes down to selling some of your shares.
