The government’s new system of private coronavirus testing to allow travellers to slash quarantine from 10 to five days was in chaos within hours of its launch on Tuesday.
Many of the 11 providers approved by the government admitted they had already run out of tests, some websites crashed and others were not yet ready to receive bookings.
The “test and release” scheme for travellers was announced last month and has been welcomed by the airline industry as a way to encourage travel by halving the amount of time people have to self-isolate after entering England from overseas.

Will be atleast £1 I would have thought, still very cheap
Question is can ODX achieve 500m mcp in 2021
I am hoping after MHRA approval we get more contracts as 75 million for consortium is not enough but a good start.
On Daily Mail
Grant Shapps unveiled new 'Test to Release' service starting on December 15
Means travellers not from corridor countries only need five day self-isolation if they test negative for Covid
No 10 to deploy rapid lateral flow tests which give result in half an hour to secondary schools 'immediately
I am sure ODX must have some kind of indication on demand and forthcoming orders as they are recruiting and expanding for more capacity or do they just expect that UK Gov may put more orders in, I'm sure ODX must have done thier risk analysis on capacity expansion VS future demand and Gov contracts, you can't just burn cash on recruitment and production on assumptions that they will sell everything they make
The reason why I asked was because Superdrugs have mentioned it on thier website of these home Test kits which they are aware of from Abingdon healthcare, I also asked them over the phone about these ABC tests and they said currently unavailable but they are expecting in future no indication of time line as it suggests to me offcourse as ODX has yet to get approval from MHRA, I did ask the price per kit they be selling but no answer for that
Are we the only one in the UK for Rapid home test kit subject to approval from MHRA, and are these already CE marked?
Dose anyone think we are likely to relist in 2021
Has anyone heard of Helium oe ticker HE1 newly listed sounds like a good play
30 million contract too small
Once MHRA and FDA approval I don't understand why we are so focused on UK gov Orders when we can sell at much greater profit abroad ODX is not just reliant on UK gov, we should be pushing for orders outside UK after both approvals
I wonder where we be sp wise £2 would be great
my thoughts on chart

Odx looking for site service engineer, on thier job description they have quoted
'' We are significantly expanding our existing manufacturing capacity on both UK sites for the production of Covid-19 tests., ''
That's a good confirmation of production capacity being ramped up, just Google it
it's estimated that Indian population of 1.2 billion given 60% do take part on Vaccine roll out the number of minimum tests required will be in the region of 6 to 9 billion treating about just over 700 million people, however countries like India, Pakistan Iran etc they do tend to force the vaccine on to pupulation its not as relaxed as here so demand will be even more given offcourse they do take orders from British Covid Tests, anything made in Briton is very valuable commodities in that part of region, just my thought
Does anyone know what is, the actual mcao value without Covid play, I know we have some very good product but sp looks like very speculative on Covid, one thing is for sure ODX is not going bust
