Or the new CEO just wanted a downbeat RNS before stealing the glory. Can’t think of any other reason for this RNS, after all there’s nothing in it that required a trading update!

My take is that it just reaffirms the issues previously highlighted, that have already taken the share price down from £4 to £1 prior to today. Clear over reaction in my mind, albeit was clearly going to be marked down significantly. Easy to make the point of a possible takeover and indeed must be a very distinct possibility. At this price would be most attractive to any oil company, even as a cheap vanity project. Can’t buck climate change. Hydrogen ain’t going away!

Sector resurgence/recovery underway. Tories will try and change the narrative with the aid of COP27 - probably now begging Charlie to get on the plane to Egypt. The sector rallied before COP26, fairly nailed on to do likewise, if the rest of market can behave.

Expecting a resurgence in the sector in the run up to COP27 - after all, it would only be a repeat of last year’s rally. Good opportunity for the Tories to deflect the narrative and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Charlie now on the way to Egypt. I rate it quite likely that we will shortly hear about client developments - clearly a kudos value to announcements around this time.

To be expected as he at least has a brain compared to the other treasonous vegetables. I’m hoping that he will allow King Charlie to go to COP27 to at least give the UK some genuine environmental gravitas.

Perhaps Sunak will allow King Charlie to go to COP27 now. Regardless, at least he’s got some appreciation of green issues and knows what hydrogen and its economic potential has.

Yep - the future dynamics/prospects of the sector has not changed in 12 months, just the geopolitics/economics. Got no great expectations for COP27 in itself but happy to predict that it will have a positive impact on the sector from what I perceive is the current ‘floor’.

Always been my view - clue was in her ‘book’ Britannia Unchained. And we had to endure the sick Tory roadshow of several months of non-governance whilst the Tory party members choose the “Whitey” for further non-governance. In the meantime our economy and any post-Brexit creditability is sunk, along with our wealth.
