Boohoo will buy shares from Umar Kumani, who is the chief executive of PrettyLittleThing, and Paul Papworth, PrettyLittleThing’s chief operating officer.

The pair will be paid £108m in new Boohoo shares and £161.9m in cash. Boohoo raised £200m to pursue acquisitions in May but said the PrettyLittleThing deal would be funded through the £240m of cash it had on its balance sheet at the end of February.

Kamani and Papworth will remain in charge of PrettyLittleThing after the Boohoo deal closes.

Fast fashion retailer Boohoo has today bought the remaining 34 per cent stake in Pretty Little Thing after facing conflict of interest criticisms from a short-seller.

The deal is for an initial consideration of £269.8m, with a further £54m of consideration “contingent on Boohoo’s share price averaging 491p per share over a six month period between completion and a longstop date of 14 March 2024.”

Web traffic for boohoo is up over 10 percent amd web traffic for returns is down over 20 percent..... More sales and less returns!!

Well the fact that boohoo is not mentioned in the title or the first paragraph is amazing news!!....

If asos are in fact deferring orders from suppliers due to staff shortages this will impact the customer offering...... boohoo may pick up some of the asos customer base if this is true.....

If there was any hint of Boohoo having this issue it would be us in the title and not asos as the rags hate boohoo!!
