Im not going to start a multi comment debate hexam as it will appear that I am trying to persuade people to buy boohoo rather than asos.... I believe both have massive opportunity from here.

Say a prayer for money sponge..... Short on m&s at 150p.....and short on rr at 100p..... That's some burn.

Also maybe consider if comparing asos vs boohoo which one is closer to peak revenue.....

Anybody able to add some color on Marshall Wace's recent short position?

Regarding letting shareholder's down, asos have seen multiple management changes I agree

Boohoo hasn't and the chairman has lost over 500 million at boohoo - you think he wanted to see that? I dont.

You can further break down the differences between asos and boohoo as both have had different issues.

But comparing them to companies that barely see growth is like comparing apples and pears.

You know what though? Shareholder's have memories like goldfish and when both companies recover everyone will be relieved or happy depending on if they break even of make a profit.

It is an over simplification but it highlights why comparing the company's is pointless... As i said, all of the companies mentioned suffered growing pains along with their shareprice.

Simon/knowbodyyouknow..... There is a simple answer.....

Over recent year's both asos and boohoo have been seeing huge growth which has required huge expansion, this of course comes at and initial cost/outlay....

As an example over the last 12 years next has grown its revenue 40 percent....

Boohoo in that same time has grown it's revenue around 2500 percent... (was nearer 3000 percent but obviously revenue has fallen back)

Sports direct, next, primark have all had major problems in the past and the shareprices adjusted according.

How dare anyone here be positive.... The audacity of it!!!

Will they really sell for less than they paid?! Imagine if they fetch premium..... Imagine they sell that small part of the company for for over 2 thirds of the mcap!!

I have never seen a company get so much hate in the press as boohoo.

Whether it is placed or not i don't know but it's definitely suspect.

Primark killed staff in India and that seemed to just be par for the course.

Nobody has mentioned interest rates staying put and the falling inflation.... Down to 6.7 now.
