Online sales have just started to show green shoots from the post covid low....

Boohoo are entering this new green shoots era with a starting base of 1.5 billion revenue and solid automated infrastructure inc a use distribution centre with total capability of 4 billion revenue....

We know that boohoo is one of the only companies to invest in price to give lower prices to the customer so if you want to talk about market share based on revenue then boohoos market share could have actually grown.

Sj - exactly my point, with guidance unchanged and set at a 5 to 15 percent decline for the full year after posting an 18 percent decline in the first half, then that suggests to me that they are seeing what they need to see with regards to the figures... Ultimately a return to revenue growth and profitability will see some big share price increases for both asos and boohoo.... More so boohoo as there has been no dilution here.

Alex - didn't asos post a decline of 18 percent for the first half? yet still held guidance for the full year of 5 - 18 percent decline...

That suggests to me that they are already seeing green shoots of growth returning to confirm that guidance....

Maybe the sector has bottomed and is returning to growth....

Surprises me that nobody has made a point of the fact that shein are only "profitable" due to using tax dodging loop holes and even still only have a wafer thin margin.... Their current business model is not viable on a level playing field... Wait until the field is leveled because it's coming soon.

I don't think shein will list in the uk but if it does it may well bring some interest back into the sector.
