TE11 is a Palaeozoic target wh0s, so you are missing the point. There are plenty of TAGI targets and as Brian alluded to at the BB event, targets will become much more valuable if they can be tied to TE10 and the seismic.

This is just an example, but this could then give greater value to existing drills including SBK, TE2 etc and maybe even derisk them.

Our value is not easy calculate and frankly we won't know until it's too late.

Yoghurt- I'm not sure anyone would have got any more info out of them to be honest. I did have a chat about it with JJ/JP at the Durham event and JJ suggested having a look at the Interoil deal which has some contingency built in.

Really wh0s? So TE10 is successful and a sale price will be very poor? I'd love to see your calculations on a possible valuation, which I'm sure you must have done to get to that conclusion?

That's how I see it Yoghurt. TE8 caused a seismic ;) change in strategy and then I'd imagine TE9 caused another. If TE10 does flow commercially, hopefully we can/have done enough to get value from our seismic and inventory via TE10 validation.

Interesting stuff. It's definitely a very good move for Chariot given the gas rates and fiscal policies. Although of course the discovery is offshore and there is some way to go in terms of development and timescales.

Shed- It was quite clear from the Balls Brothers event that Sound have moved beyond their remit in terms of exploration. John advised that he has validated our basin model volumes using external well data, something that a buyer would do for their due diligence. Additionally they have spent significant time already working on appraisal targets for TE10. It's very clear we have a plan and like most plans, they often need more time than expected.

I think that JP said in Bristol that if things appear to be going slower than expected, it's more likely to be by design than not.

Soundsrich- There must be reasonable expectation that TE10 can flow commercially. Otherwise Schlumberger would not allow us to spend the money on testing. Therefore additional work on TE10 cannot IMO be a delaying tactic for TE11.

Agreed PNE. Apart from the delay on the seismic acquisition, I believe it's all been about time management. When you listen to what we've been doing in the background, it's very clear we're at 110%. If you need more time, you slow down the main driver.

Personally I'd ask the question as to whether the market is actually reacting or not. For the last few trading days we have been plagued by algorithm trades, like we saw on those (IMO) manufactured drops last time. Take those away, and the brokers are just filling orders for buyers at the moment.

He would need to sell all his shares and put money into the plan to purchase the options at these levels, close to £50K extra. Essentially he would only increase his holding by just over 250K after taking into account the cash input into the scheme. Only my opinion, but there is 0% chance of the scheme exercising the options unless (and selling to cover the purchase/tax) there is good news on TE10.

The TE6 pre stimulation flow rate was not commercial and I'm fairly certain that TE10 will not flow as well as TE6. Therefore to announce an unstimulated, uncommercial flow rate on TE10 could cause confusion. This is a complex multi-part testing programme which probably doesn't lend itself to an early RNS.

As we see these days, share prices are often manipulated to force companies to issue early RNSs. Hopefully this doesn't happen to Sound.

We've heard from the horses mouth that testing has started. And to any investor, anything else is irrelevant, especially the bile spouted from Fellrunner.

It's pretty clear from previous takeovers that potential buyers get involved well before the general public know about it. These are complex assets and as long as the seller is clear about their intentions, there is no issue with ongoing discussions.

I don't see any link between the TP and TE10 to be honest, other than I think TE10 may be a catalyst to sell some shares, the same as many here may do on success. The TP is separate from JP and the board and so it is only working on the same information as we have.

I'm going to stick my neck out, but I think there is 0% chance of the TP transacting now unless there is good news on TE10. The plan is about risk management and if it had the mandate to take up the options at 22/24p it would have done so on Monday. To do it a few days later isn't logical and goes against the idea of managing risk.
