The well is planned to 7,000 feet and drilling is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
That's not bad going just over 2000 thousand meters within two weeks. I wonder if this well goes to plan there might be an option to take a highter % this could turn out to be a good bit of business. GL all

At last we moved into 2nd gear. This should move up though the gear nice and steady now. And it looks like we may have a couple more projects coming our way.

The result of this well will be very interesting for Msmn not long to wait.

Mereenie WM26 Drilling Update
Central Petroleum Limited (“Company” or “Central”), as operator of the Mereenie Joint Venture, advises that the 6 1/8” hole of the West Mereenie 26 well was drilled horizontally from 1495 meters measured depth through to 2388 meters measured depth. This equates to a horizontal lateral length of 893 meters through the Lower Stairway 2 formation.
The well was then logged and is currently being suspended and made secure. The logs will be analysed in light of the gas shows experienced in West Mereenie 26.
The rig will be released from West Mereenie 26 by the 7th of July 2018.

Mosman continues to monitor operations closely and the objective of establishing steady state production remains. The two wells have been producing initial flow rates with variable amounts of oil, gas and water produced. The wells have certainly not yet achieved a steady production state. Daily production has ranged between nil to over 80 bopd and 300 mcf of gas

WM26 Update
Drilling continues without incident and is currently at 2274m MD, with another 700m to go. Logs will be run from 2360m MD to evaluate completion options in the Lower Stairway 2.
Background gas continues to increase as more air drilled horizontal open hole becomes available. Natural permeability is low and further work may need to be considered to complete WM26.

Mereenie WM26 Drilling Update
Central Petroleum Limited (“Company” or “Central”) as operator of the Mereenie Joint Venture announces West Mereenie 26 has reached the targeted Lower Stairway 2 sandstone as confirmed by cutting samples and logging while drilling Gamma Ray log. The horizontal section of the well now extends 425m and is now in the interval expected to be the most highly fractured, the results of which should be known in the next day or two. While minor gas shows and connection gas have been observed, there is evidence of fracture plugging with minerals.
Horizontal drilling progresses as per plan. The well will be evaluated for completion design at the end of this segment of the well e.g. open hole, cased hole or stimulated
