Just read the article again, I must have got excited about the tv part and glossed over the exploration part.

I can’t see them raising millions at these levels as it will wipe out SC, that’s unless SC take another 10% of the company.

I would like them to go with what they have and then do more exploration once we have funds coming in. That’s what I want but I doubt we’ll get it.

The Bougouni lithium mine will soon start with production of 1.94 million tonnes of lithium concentrate over a minimum service life of 8.5 years. This is what the feasibility study published on Monday by Kodal Minerals reports for this project it is developing in Mali. Investment amount: $ 117 million. The start-up is planned for the second half of 2021.

The Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Lelenta Hawa Baba Bah, expressed his optimism regarding this project in an interview broadcast by Malian television (ORTM). Mali should eventually be able to manufacture lithium batteries using 3D printers.

Note that Kodal Minerals has applied to the Malian authorities for a mining license. Pending the obtaining of this license which, subject to financing, will allow construction to begin, the company plans to continue its exploration activities in order to increase the resources of the project.

More than likely a combination of that and the website, to be fair the website isn’t bad.

The only real conclusion of these shares being issued is for the website maintenance and the new presentation as this is the only thing I can see that’s changed lately.

Looks like mining Licence is in the bag and just awaiting Mali ministry to start up processing applications after COVID.

The big ask is now negotiating with SC, let’s see if BA has been correct in having so much faith in our “strategic partner”

Here’s what the RNS stated for Diendio:
Kodal to acquire a 90% interest in the 109km(2) 'Diendio Project' in southern Mali ('Diendio' or 'the Project') consisting of three granted concessions namely the Diendio Sud, Diossyan Sud and Manankoro Nord (see Figure 1).

-- Field reconnaissance by Company geologists has highlighted the presence of coarse grained pegmatites containing spodumene (lithium bearing mineral) within the Project area.

-- Previous exploration drilling targeting gold mineralisation has intersected pegmatite units up to 31m thick, and field reconnaissance has highlighted extensive surface pegmatite outcrop.

-- Field review and reconnaissance mapping of pegmatite occurrences to be undertaken immediately. Geochemical sampling and prioritisation for drill testing will be completed with the aim of drilling as soon as possible.

-- Total consideration of US$65,000 to be paid in two annual staged instalments ending November 2017 with the first payment of US$30,000 to be paid upon signing.
