Panasonic said it had to add production more quickly than anticipated and hire more workers at the Nevada battery factory it jointly runs with Tesla, known as the Gigafactory. The increase in fixed costs pushed the business into the red, the company said. "We are investing in a lot of people so we can catch up with the pace of production," said Hirokazu Umeda, Panasonic's chief financial officer.

Just seen why the LIT ETF is up along with SQM: 200,500 #EVs sold during the month of September according to @InsideEVs. Largest sales month ever. And historically, the largest 3 sales months are still a head.

LIT etf is surging along with SQM and Tesla and we’re down. Will only take one spark and this should fly. News must drop soon, it’s been 8 weeks since we had an update.

Looks like we’re going to be first ones out the gate for a processing plant judging by BGS announcement of a 6 month slippage. I still believe we will merge and the BGS holders are being softened up for the merger. It’s starting to happen now as a lot of the posters on hot copper are warming to the idea. All systems should be go now as we’re out of the rainy season, let’s see what the next RNS brings.

dazaliam, I’ve always had a hunch that a deal has been done between the two companies and the Chinese. I know it’s not what a lot of shareholders of BGS want to hear as you on your own can be self sufficient. when you look at the share price of both companies and lack of off-take news for BGS something doesn’t add up. When you also look at the differing paths both companies have taken, we’ve gone heavy into the metallurgical testing and processing requirements which from what I can make out BGS hasn’t. This is only my hunch and could be a load of b@llocks. Either way i would like both companies to do well.

dazaliam, don’t worry mate. You get all sorts of nut jobs on this board. Hold tight to your BGS shares, in my opinion you’re on to a winner.
