@Narada. agree, i have read and been suckered in by plenty of hype! but even strong balance sheet doesn't always translate to SP growth. I was going to buy BIDS @6p, didn't and then saw little prospect. But, like NNN today, this sort of news will hopefully translate to SP growth over time. I have taken a small position for now
I need 2.5p to get one of my holdings out, long way to go. And will need some serious news confirmed to get there...
And certain stocks seem to have thrived and maintained their gains. Watches of Switzerland would have been a pretty decent buy In April 2020. 7 bagged so far and showing no signs of slowing. People will always want expensive watches it seems!
Thanks for the responses and insights. I got into KOD at (what I thought / hope is a good price) based on their potential. I took a small slice of profit a while ago around 0.3 . KOD is one of my (few) with profit stocks right now. I will continue to hold but just deflating seeing sp slides everywhere from an investing point of view!
I am in way too many stocks and virtually all are getting hammered. Company news that last year would have seen 50% gains now barely ripples a share price. There is general uncertainty due to Covid so people stockpiling cash or taking profits / crystalline losses where they can even if SP is well down from its peaks. Lots of companies I own have great fundamentals / prospects but that doesn't seem to matter right now. Question is, how long will this state last?
@citytilidie. I certainly agree about MOS potential. I haven't sold any of my shares here and still in paper profit despite heavy pullback. I just trust AIM market less and less to truely reflect any companies potential or results. Watches of Switzerland....now that defies all "sell off" logic to me though. What an investment thst would have been in March 2020!
People just taking profits will always happen with AIM stocks no matter how good the underlying business. I am invested in alot (too many) stocks and imo alot of "in profit" stocks have been sold in last few days. People stockpiling cash perhaps...
The need for masks had not gone away even before the new variant announcement. The question remains , can NNN capitalise? I hovered over averaging down this morning but decided not. If NNN can reverse past mistakes this will fly past my 2p averages anyway. Day traders will make money today though, no question of that!
Ok , re-read the last RNS, they are only supporting but why the rise today??
The Paraytec team has engaged Sagentia International, a UK company who specialise in taking diagnostic instruments and disposables from laboratory prototypes through to final prototype verification, ready for transfer to the Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) or commercial manufacturing partner. During this development, Paraytec will continue to test clinical specimens and is preparing for a prospective clinical study to test subject specimens in the latest available prototypes.
The tweet refers to an RNS that doesn't exist so how does anyone know this "deal" is genuine? And is Sagentia actually capable of supporting the mass production of this test to market? The video posted below has 108 views which hardly inspires confidence in their commercial reach. We need an RNS with all details asap!
