They performed as they said they would so why the hell would the broker lower the target?
The ones that severely lowered their targets are the weird ones like Barclays. Makes no sense to first say 440p and then lower it to 150p even though the company said they performed like they would.
The payment issue sounds like more bs just like the Numis & Telegraph crap.
I can understand if some employees are angry for getting sacked because of THG Autostore, but that's just how the world works these days. Disgusting how the media can keep posting lies.
There should be massive lawsuits againts such outfits with £100/200m claims against such (news)papers for market value/brand damages. That would teach them a lesson and would certainly make them think twice before publishing blatant lies.
It will never happen because the system is so corrupt, they are all connected. Media/City/regulators
The City and certain media are clearly in cahoots on this smear campaign with the goal to destroy market value and perhaps even trying to destroy the entire company. The collusion qualifies as a racketeering and running a criminal enterprise and all of them should be locked up for decades and damages paid to shareholders.
Plenty of people make fun of conspiracy theorists but you would have to be a total naive moron NOT to see there is clearly a conspiracy going on here!
Seems the shorters/bashers are getting a bit nervous as we approach results.
Squeaky bum time for them.
I would prefer they pay off their debt first but i agree, news is going to be exciting.
Probably still the same ****ty 150p downgraded price target. Barclays seem quite active giving out their crappy insanely downgraded price target twice in one month. Probably working an agenda.
Thanks for the feedback Jimmy.
Bought my first Chariot shares in 2011 around 100p and in the years that followed i managed to average down to 32p.
Came close to selling it all when we were trading in the 2/3p range out of frustration with how Larry was running the show. So glad i held on. This is still my second largest portfolio holding so i'm thrilled with how things have turned out.
Your positivity and posts on the technical side of the business are much appreciated!
Hi Jimmy,
You mentioned SDX Energy and their Moroccan onshore acreage adjacent to Chariots Lixus licence.
At a glance they seem to be undervalued given their assets, cash in the bank vs current market cap although their assets are nowhere near the quality of Chariot's of course.
You think it would be worth it for Chariot to raise or borrow cash and to launch a takeover bid on SDX or do you think it's not worth it for Chariot in terms of potential synergies on their Moroccan assets?
@Ste2000, i don't see any comment from today's reiteration but i would expect it to be pretty much the same as what they said 2 months ago.

They have also reiterated their 500P price target today.
Seems both RBC and Liberum think quite differently to some on these boards!
If next update is even remotely positive it could rerate just as quickly as it came down.

I meant Liberum haha
Liberium Capital just reiterated their 700p price target. Crazy valuation gap!

If he knew something it would be insider trading...nice bashing try though!
Impressive HQ, nice find Sp28.
Costs will probably be a lot higher now than several years ago given supply chain issues and inflation.
Still, it sure looks like a company that is growing quickly and has big plans, not going down the drain like some try to claim.
Share price is indeed not the company!
Shorters and media, connected and corrupt. Time to throw them in prison!

@Hajones or,
5. The BOD wants to take it private and is letting PE short it under threshold reporting as low as possible and then offering a premium to take it private.
Should be good either way then. If MM stays and takes it private it should result in a substantial premium to today's price and if he wants to sell the entire biz including his holding to go and do something new he could be pushing for a bidding war and selling to the highest bidder which could result in an even better price. Both scenarios are bad for shorters so i'm happy either way.
Could be Pokerchips, but that wouldn't explain the Barclays and Jefferies potential bid defense part.
If MM just wants to sell up and go do something new there would be no need for any potential defense against the private equity bidders.
"The row has emerged as Mr Moulding prepares for a private equity bidders to seize on THG’s bombed-out share price. Bankers from Barclays and Jefferies are advising THG on a potential bid defence. "
Nice find Venture Capital.
And the Softbank connection with Contentsquare.
"Contentsquare’s remarkable growth, which includes a $500M Series E funding round led by SoftBank, and two significant innovation-driven acquisitions (Hotjar and Upstride), have positioned the company to make great strides in innovation and global expansion. "
