Hi Cowichan, having looked into a few sources it seems probable that Hennie Faul hasn't updated his Linkdin profile. A common occurrence.

Cowichan what is your main concern and what is the question to be asked?
Sorry I not fully up to speed on the technical aspects but will happily pose the question to CEY.
Marybr190 understood but the topic is Fair Value SP not valuing a Company.
There may be similarities but the two are not same and should not be confused
Of course the Fair Value SP consists of facts + subjective / reasoned variables
It is a calculation from which a maximum, minimum and likely can be produced.
As Tornadotony and Sotolo have kindly explained
Nothing to do with Market Price.
The frustration is well understood and shared Palayintheodds.
I am well invested and sometimes buy and sell but tend to take a longer view.
Don't beat yourself up too much. It is very difficult to predict a banana skin event as happened this week.
Thanks very much Tornadotony much appreciated.
A sensible and reasoned calculation.
It helps tremendously to understand and gives credibility to your figures.
Also to serve as a basis for some "what if" calculations for Fair Price SP
Auscon yes agreedthere is that to it as well. So clearly market price is not linked to Fair Value.
I am hoping Adrian77 will "put his money where his mouth is" and explain / substantiate his Fair Value SP calculation.
That way we can have a reasoned discussion
So far the silence is deafening.
Can agree on Market Price MaryBr190 but not Fair Value.
Market Price is a fact of life decided / manipulated between buyer and seller so there can be many drivers some visible some hidden from view.
Whereas Fair Value is a calculation, admittedly some of the constituent parts may be subjective, but a claculation nonetheless.
Of course it wasn't coincidence that Liberium came out with their lowball SP on the day CEY should have been basking in the glow of a 200 oz future development, with the result the SP was knocked.
I am not saying CEY Management were complicit but there were a lot of others involved in the WA reviiew and studies and the timing of the RNS could easily have leaked.
There are a lot of crooks out there including so callled professional investors and market makers. Also as I have explained before CEY being cash rich, literally a gold mine and low cost to buy and sell (no stamp duty) is a traders dream.
So my take on the Liberium SP announcement = skulduggery.
Sad because of good work by Martin Horgan CEY had a good story of a 200 oz development in the pipeline plus possible disposal of Beattie West.
There have been several posts and statements as to what is fair value.
I am not saying any are wrong but without substantiation / explanation they are meaningless hot air.
So Adrian77 I can understand that "fair value" will vary depending on gold price so please kindly expain how you have calculated your figures of 120p and 82p.
Please don't take this post the wrong way, I am genuinely interested as to how the sps are calculated.
These are very important to the development of SP value.
Mr T I saw your post about contacting Centamin.
Who do I write to and which email address please?
I have faith in Martin Horgam to deliver but expressing interest and concern is a valid action.
He said news would be announced in May 2021 .... not long to go now.
There has been some interesting views expressed on dividends in another thread, even if dividends should be reinvested and not paid.
As an investor as opposed to a trader, for me dividends are an essential and fundamental part of the investment process. Of course capital gains is another important aspect so really it seems to be a balance of both.
As far as UK citizens who are non resident CEY is a perfect vehicle for both, especially since it is classed as a non-UK share for tax purposes and dividends are classed as overseas dividends for thus both capital gains and dividends are free of UK tax.
Add to that zero UK Stamp Duty on trades and excellent prospects CEY is an excellent share to invest in and not just to trade.
