Exactly they did something very similar with Optomen New York shutting down a very lucretive well run and profitable Production and throwing a hundred long serving staff out of work.

Good artical and talk there Seights . Caroline makes herself look a lot more intelligent than some have tried to lead us to believe . It has certainly made me feel a lot more comfortable for having my investment in ITV .

And look what they did to Optomen New York hands in glove with all three media chucked the President and all the team who had ran a very profitable unit for many years on the scrap heap .

Don’t hold your breath yet , in all my years investing I have never seen such a top sy turvy market day as we are having now .

Nige so unlike you this last entry do you not think that although ITV is pushing forward Our CEO is not going to shout any bravado’s as she still wants to maintain the pressure on herself and her company to go further and become even more successful. That would be my diagnosis.

Yes very well done you must put a lot of time with you research we are very lucky to have such as you and Nige interested enough to bother and put things politely and plainly for numb heads like me to understand,

The only thing that is keeping this share down at the moment is the market , I have never seen so many driveline comments for this company from mostly uninvested people who seem to have absolutely far to much time on there hands ,why on Earth don’t they take up doing jig saws or such like .The Dame will come right in the end .

Not to bothered about divs at the moment more concerned about the share price first time I’ve seen Itv do so bad against the market .

This needs to be cancelled all round ASAP.

Then again in all fairness apple have had good results and they have also lost value slightly .

It really does make you wonder what it is all about I’ve been investing in this company for many many moons now since they were priced in penny’s and have stayed in through thick and thin .How can the price have dropped today I fully expected a fairly good day today and we have been greeted with this .No wonder people are going into imaginary investments such as bit coin . I feel sure that most of our worries for the past few months have been as everyone else COVID but to my mind the down slide has not been stalled as it might have been due to the introduction and mammoth rise in popularity of bit coin, this could be if it is allowed to get anymore out of hand this could be a reel menace to finance markets in the not to distant future .

I gathered that Nige I really do think this is Itvs year this year ,I hope so anyway then I can start reading books again ,as well as speaking to the wife ,.
