Yep any spare cash I can get my hands on i'm topping up on this one - 3p would be great, but I think it could eventually do even better - good luck all
Not a clue - i thought it was semi-good news when they stated the dividend level was x3 coverage (whatever the wording was) although not paying a dividend!
Happy to top up at these prices, but could do with a rise and a dividend.
Thanks for that - i did see that explanation - but it doesnt answer the question - will a dividend actually be paid out?
I post on here as there's much more chat than on the actual KIE page. KIE have announced that the dividend coverage rate is x3; could someone explian whether that actually means they intend to pay a dividend or not? I understand that it shows the ability to pay and provides some level of comfort to investors, but down to the bare bones - will i receive a dividend payment or not? Many thanks and sorry to post here but wasnt getting any advice on KIE forum.
I do not understand the dividend cover statement? x3 cover? Does this mean we're getting a dividend or not? :)
Surely they must be barmy veen considering this purchase?
Drivel Steve, absolute Mr Negative
Steve72 - absolute doom and gloom - stay off this board if all you have to contribute is negativity! If you are an employee with buying share prices at £15 plus then I understand your frustration but keep it off here please.
Hinkley - what an absolute melt...........tw4t
Some decent buys starting to kick in............
Steve72 - he's back!
Yep, a long road ahead still, and still the majority of transactions appear to be private investors. No real moves by the institutions, who i would suggest are certainly not selling stock based on probably having bought in at £10 plus per share. They would have almost certainly taken up their share options, so still holding a good foothold in this share. There's not much more alternative for your money I would suggest unless you want high risk and penny shares where there is more risk than reward I would suggest, and certainly no dividends. Steady and slow wins the race! I dont think we'll see much movement on this, this year. Hoping for better prospects next year, and with a divvy fingers crossed.
In for the long term haul, and slowly building my position at these prices.
Still amazed at how little chat this share is generating. Waiting on the update next month that will hopefully see this share really kick into gear. Wonder if there will be any sniff of any dividend coming back on line next year?
No real big transactions happening here, buying or selling, so lots of perhaps employee or PI trades?
What was the real message on the dividends? Was it likely to return? Ididnt quite understand the wording..... is there hope on the horizon?
Pantherpat - nice words, except Kier no longer are a housebuilder. Agree that this share has the ability to fly, and construction contracts abound and plentiful. Low margin but high turnover is their game. Previous loan from construction cash to housebuilding as a cheap self-financing deal - no longer after sale of KL - so real cash in their pocket. I am very optimistic on this and already had a Brucie bonus cashing in on some of the further issue at 85p....... seen my new car yet :)
Yep holding long terms and slowly been building on the latest low prices, from small profits on other investments, now holding 1m shares. No rush for me, slow and steady wins the race, and by year end if i double my investment I will sell half my stock.
What complete drivvle.
Yep thanks for that prompt - bagged a profit and now waiting for the 85p buy back!
Great to see an uplift finally happening, maybe some confidence coming back. Still holding longer term. Trades still showing PI levels, with little institutional trades.
Yep, be good to see the back of Steve - we can do without doom and gloom, lets look to the future.
