Don’t talk it down Herdie. I’m a firm believer luck happens when preparation meets opportunity.
Many Argonauts have already experienced the rollercoaster. As BTC starts to cement its place the FUD will disappear. Those left will either have shorts opened against BTC/Argo or feel like they have missed the boat. Best of luck.
Various studies have shown Optimists live longer and manage stress levels better than pessimists.
I am Optimistic we are close to a life changing sale.
If I'm wrong. The sun will rise in the morning just as it has and will continue to do so.
Resisted the urge to see what BTC had done over night until just before 7am. Alongside the RNS we should see a blue day.
Not getting carried away, the events of the last two days will make many of us better investors, I know that's the case with myself having been through the first dip with Argo. Every day is a school day.
Ryan1066. Think people are referring to IG spread betting when they mention wide spreads. I have Level 2 data and only spread bet Argo. As I type this the spread on IG for a Argo spread bet is 298 sell - 311 buy.
To stop any misinformation or confusion if anyone who comments on spread price stipulates they are referring to a spread bet price this will help us all. Please read our rules before posting
I watched this board for a long time before posting. It's difficult to remain objective and have a balanced view when it's your own situation, which is why most human beings are better at giving advice than taking their own.
We have all at some point or other thought should I sell up and go elsewhere. Especially as we see other shares increase, you start doing the maths in your own head and your mind runs away with fantasy profits.
The sale has never been this close. We invested in EUA as we believed in the potential, we all suffer from confirmation bias in our own investing decisions and it's only with the benefit of hindsight you can break down previous decisions in granular detail to conduct your own analysis.
If some people think the sale won't happen, that's great, thank you for having a difference of opinion to me and many others. There are some genuine posters who can disagree without becoming disagreeable.
We are all different people in someone else's eyes and we are not responsible for the image people create of us in their own minds.
When the news does land. If it's a sale 95% of the board will be elated and we shall celebrate. If no sale, we dust ourselves down and make choices on what to do next. For those who celebrate a no sale with a vitriolic attitude it says more about them than it does about the rest of the board.
