Argo, a UK-based provider of cryptocurrency mining services (LSE: ARB), is pleased to announce a ten-fold increase in its sold packages to 4,200, marking the first significant ramp-up of the Company's revenues since its Initial Public Offering in August of 2018.
The increase follows the successful expansion of Argo's mining platform announced on 6 September and completed ahead of schedule last week.
As a result, more than 3,800 new packages have been signed up with effect from today. The strong customer take-up has also led to the enlarged capacity being immediately sold out, as anticipated by the Company.
Argo will continue to add new mining capacity and offer more choice of currencies in line with its phased growth plans, which call for the deployment of sufficient capacity to support approximately 30,000 packages within the first 12 months of operations.
"We are delighted to achieve our first significant sales target ahead of our plans and the start of meaningful revenues for the Company", Mike Edwards, president and co-founder of Argo, said.
"The strong take-up of our service also indicates that demand of cryptomining services remains robust despite a recent downturn in the sector. We will continue to execute our growth strategy as quickly as possible to meet this pent-up demand," he said.
While LION is only valued at £14 million at the moment.
Viera take a minute to read the last few posts.
I got an email from Argo last night, all the packages had sold out bar two. They have already been taken up by those on the waiting list.
so if they had capacity for another 3000 users I would think that they have nearly got them then (no I don't know the exact number before you ask).
Got it?
No discussion?
Oh I'll wait for the moan and groan ones.
I agree Clarky
Definitely won't be selling.
Should be back late October early November?
Notification tonight but everything sold out bar Zcash and Horizen, only $50 monthly option left.
Good news then.
Yes so it's more to do with the price of gold.
I emailed them the other week about the websites, they know that they are in need of updating and will sort them, nearer the goldbloc launch.
Is the roadshow tomorrow Dan or next month?
Do you have any link to the information?
Sorry that should read patience, I don't usually involve my patients when investing in shares, lol.
I followed some of your posts on iii viera, they were quite useful but you are sorely testing my patients now, don't know why you've changed over to a whinging poster who doesn't take in the information on this board?
Poor.

Bitcoin and other digital currencies have continued to tumble in value, amid concerns that Wall Street institutions are shunning cryptocurrencies.
It follows media reports, originally in Business Insider, that Goldman Sachs is shelving plans to set up a cryptocurrency trading desk.
Mainstream lenders have largely kept their distance from digital currencies.
A Goldman spokesman said the bank had yet to decide on the scope of its "digital asset offering".
On Thursday, Bitcoin was trading down 4.45%, or $300 on the day, at $6,382.
The cryptocurrency has lost two-thirds of its value in the past nine months. It was trading above $19,000 in mid-December, and if its falls continue it could threaten this year's low of $5,887.
Meanwhile other coins were also losing value on Thursday - with Ethereum down 12%, Litecoin losing 11%, and Ripple behind by 7%.

Well TMF has gone.
III has changed platform and is terrible to navigate, it used to be a decent discussion board.
And I've never been a fan of ADVFN.
A steady climb would be better viera.
Agree with you Mozax.
I'm on the ARGO waiting list, I'd prefer cryptos not to rise yet until I've started my subscription - regardless of bulls and bears on here, I'm sure most investors would agree with my thinking.
Prefer Gold prices to remain week until I've loaded up my Goldbloc card.
Some are bearish but I remain bullish on LION's prospects going forward.
Roll on November and the RNS updates up till then.
That was in response to Bitcoin dropping.
Glad I've been able to help : )
You want Bitcoin low so that you get more mined for your money, just like you want the FTSE to be low while you buy a tracker fund, the higher it is the less Bitcoin you get.
You want it to rise in the future not now - that is why people will want to sign up. I'm on the list!
