Well, from the Oil & Gas conference back in October the TZ authorities claimed that they would discuss an act in parliament during November. Today being the last day, has anything been discussed, are we any further forward? There appears to be many layers of bureaucracy to get through with the TZ socialist government. Maybe , as we move into December we'll learn how far we got, if anywhere.

One crumb of comfort for me - the volume is incredibly low!

The Tanz government are very busy playing politics at the moment. Think there is a lot of discussion going on with East African Countries regarding trade. Gas and Oil will be high on the agenda. No crumbs of comfort being offered by our BOD via communication but there again ARA are running show and they will decide what gets put out. Wonder if the TZ gov will offer free broadband or promise to build 40 new hospitals as part of next years elections, don't think they will need to - 99% of the vote guaranteed! One thing is for sure - It is everyone and not just us, something will give soon (imminently, maybe)

Good article GL, at least yours wasn't slated as 'Fake News'. Just another indication on how much the TZ authorities are scrutinizing the PSA's to ensure the best national outcome. Have a look at this one, a Chemical Engineer is requesting funding to convert gas into LPG to enable use in rural areas. Another customer if funding is granted. Tick tock .

Never any mention of the Caroil drill and where it went after NT-2. Was being stored on site, surely it's not still there after this time? Wonder if it's man enough for a KN sidetrack?

This was one of the points I raised last week. They are now preparing the site with an access road, they must have an idea when and where the drill is coming , footprint, services and all that jazz. If I were to take delivery of a new motor (not purchased from AEX profits), I'd like to think I'd clear enough space in the garage.

Hello Froggy, posted this article last week but thanks for sharing again. Careful you'll have Buckfast screaming 'Fake News'. The license will drop closer to the drill date at a guess. Trying to find any mobilization for activities in our area - specifically onshore, no joy yet. Market will know before us. I think the communications from the BOD are worse than poor but ARA are probably controlling what gets put out. Slow day, more chat posts than trades - tick tock.

Jeez, 70 posts. It’s like panto season.

Hope posting research links hasn’t offended anyone. The license will get issued when it does. Those waiting for license only maybe looking to jump on the next spike. I’m more interested in the drill hence my sharing of the parallels we have with Dodsal who should be drilling Q4. The drill turning will really give this a kick up the jacksee.

Don’t think they can update until the farm out is complete which is dependent upon the license. Speculation again, but if I were to bother making a road to a drill site I would know when and from where the drill was coming from.

One things for sure (I know I've taken up a lot of air time today), the BOD need to throw us a bone!

It's purely speculation from my side but these are 'Onshore wells' - equipment requirements are not too dissimilar to our needs (wouldn't you think). If we are to be timed and linked with this drill our wonderful BOD should inform us.

VS, as mentioned earlier keep an eye on Dodsal, according to this article they have satisfied the PSA and will be mobilising to drill during this quarter - could an indication of when appropriate rigs will be in the area. Purely speculation but potential oil will sort out the pecking order

Furthermore, I believe that our PSA is very attractive due to the oil shows. The TZ authorities mentioned the need to push potential oil discovery prospects during the recent Oil & Gas conference. I'm not ramping, just highlighting information that is out there in press . DYOR of course. GLA

VS, worth keeping an eye on all the other players in TZ, the paths will cross when the PSA's are done. We issued a statement regarding Sakson winning the CK-1 drill with a drill share with Heritage Oil. Don't forget our very own Linda Beal is a NED for Orca. Her latest appointment I believe is i3Energy plc.

I believe Dodsal have had the green light on a PSA recently. Orca are waiting on the Songo Songo PSA and I'm almost sure I read somewhere that Sakson would be behind the drill.

"Some PSA issues appear to contradict or overlap with other contracts" Who know's but ARA will be looking for the 25 year license and the EPS sign-off and not just the license extension to drill. We already have a huge find and need to move it into production.
