Would it be reasonable to suggest when the price went up they were looking to trigger take profit settings around that kind of price , I believe Friday was a similar exercise ready to go into Monday with shares on hand at the better price with the larger spread ?

So surely there can't actually be many shares left to buy , what happens if they run out. Do they rely on most traders looking for 30% increase thats sets off take profit to release shares. Which after thinking about it is exactly what happened on Friday and why it happened so late in the day. Price rose just short of 30% activated a ton of take profit and gave them the shares they needed. Look at the trade pattern yesterday not once would a day trader take 30% out of yesterday's price range with a spread almost double what it was and they didn't flinch on the buy price all day pretty much.

This is an honest question , what needs to happen for them to get caught out, how does that work if there in a position to manipulate the pricing etc ?
