Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Apologies to have re-posted, I've been off the board for a while and not kept up to date with all the excellent research that gets posted up!
source is global tenders for anyone wanting to follow up,
There is an upcoming tender deadline of 26/11/19 to provide equipment and form a new security base at King Khalid International Airport In Riyadh - an airport Hazar International's CEO and sister company Sogerep are already heavily involved with - I encourage everyone if they have yet to, to spend 10 mins reading about the clad behind the CEO of Hazar (now in partnership with WSG).

Boeing have predicted the middle east to be their biggest expansion market, with a requirement of 3000 new aircraft before 2035, valued at $745bn.
And this is just the aviation sector - the KSA port industry is equally very substantial.
Decent financials in Ghana may well provide us with a 50p - £1 tea party, but contracts and business in this region is how PF's retirement plan of £2+ a share will roll out,
DS
.... when
1) you log in and see DHC and his opinion have been pi55ing their pants all day and plastering the board with excitement,
and
2) Foxys on mute, and Tosh brings up Sandra
All the best everyone!
Further industry related advancements that hopefully WSG are going to be hot on their toes with.
US and UK leading the way, so only a matter of time before others follow suit,

Totally agree Feeks, that the clue hunting games are probably not at all necessary considering we have been given confirmation we're in bed with a seemingly big player out there, however on a personal level, I quite enjoy scrolling through articles and what have you in the spare time I get, more than anything - to hone in on developing my research skills that may prove to come in handy down the line with other stocks and shares etc.
The amount I've learned over the years from other PI's on this board has been pretty amazing to be truthful, and although a lot of the time it is just speculation - it makes for exciting reading, and certainly opens up a lot of questions.
Given the recent flurry of activity we'v been subjected to from WSG, its very clear that behind closed doors, they have been extremely busy bods the last few years, therefore when we do get a snippet of perhaps a country or region they have been engaged in, trailing back through previous news relevant to those areas and our industry, I firmly believe will aid in gaining a better perspective and fuller picture of what we may have on our hand in the months to come - E.g. information from the last few years about Bahrain and Kuwait looking to privatise and internationally outsource parts of their aviation and port security operations I would suggest is now very relevant for shareholders here, and could be a key insight as to what may be round the corner following our recent partnership within that region of the world.
For me, having a better perspective and knowledge of the underlying potential that lies from within these JV RNS's - could be the difference between selling my lot at 30-50p on confirmation of Tema (depending on financials), and having a good few all inc cruises over the next 10 years, or, strategically predicting the signs of times to come, and by 2020/2021 waking up to being handed £2+ a share from a fat cat security boss. and instead just buying the flippin' cruise ship!
And not the sierra queen! :)
I'm feeling a good week to come! GLA

Just to chime in as a I didn't realise the board wasn't aware of the link with the air force contract in the Middle East - our JV partner Hazar International are heavily linked to the Saudi military and its respective air forces, have a scan through of this link I'll post at the bottom, and read through their their clients and how many air force, military connections there are - I'd wager a hefty sum that we are already a lot deeper in KSA than they have let on,
Best

Think we all knew that was the case, be interesting to see whether any political reaction comes of the leak. Theoretically it should only strengthen Iran's discrimination claims (of which it completely has been) , and if the rest of the world decide to grow a pair, and push forward in getting this whole ordeal nipped in the bud.
Agreed . contracts deffo not going ahead now, it really is a shame! I'm just glad I bought in with my buy back guarantee that investinvalue made we aware of a few weeks ago! GLA
Going off the gist of that article, I'd argue that only strengthens the need of having an external security company to help control and regulate the port - The gov. are clearly very reliant on this investment
Just a reminder that PF has openly stated in the past that this is their publicity strategy for these kinds of MSC's. Albeit sole control of timing is somewhat out of their hands with an external party equally involved . . there is nothing to stop both putting it back a few hours to get it over the line after hours friday/saturday/sunday . . . lining up a nice 7am monday market release, and allowing the SP the following 5 days to grow and settle into a fixed higher range - which again will prove to be additionally useful for the finance guys to grasp and determine the best time and factored price for an equity raise, (if thats what they plan on doing).
Just a passing observation anyway, but PF certainly ain't no fool when it comes to spiking an SP
That’s it foxy, refreshing to to see your words of doom and gloom grace the boards once again!
Although it may appear a strange time to sell, as jimzi put it, there’s a whole host of reasons why ii’s and pi’s alike sell . . It’s likely a capital raise, or a shift away from AIM, and considering the price is about double what it has been for the last 6 months, in that sense now would seem a sensible time to do so.
Cheer up :)
Evening all . . .
I met with an old colleague on friday evening who has been working in Airport operations across the middle east since leaving the UK 8 years ago, and he had just coincidentally finished a 6 month contract at King Fahd International, in April.
Aside from testing Dorsets finest ales, I naturally picked his brains to death about anything we could speculate on surrounding what could be going on out there related to this latest WSG move, and although nothing concrete came to light . . an interesting loose connection he provided was that he was aware Serco had recently been awarded a contract over there, of what is rumoured to be likely a trial run before enrolling that particular partnership throughout most of the country's major airports. The way he put it, was roughly along the lines of 'Smithers mate, they'll award contracts to any international company, even more so from the west, purely for face value'. It was apparently the biggest airport he's ever worked at (and believe me thats some statement as he has been all over the place), and beyond his knowledge as to why, he remarked that for whatever reason, the Saudi's are literally throwing everything they've got at their aviation industry, and it is subsequently growing at a faster rate than any other area he currently knows of within Europe and the middle east.
Despite the proximity of Tema, and the other fantastic recent news we've had, I just can't get this Saudi JV out my head . . because for me, this right here, really is the company maker that will make PF's £2 a share pipe dream become quite a frightening reality.
I've read and read and read today and yesterday evening, but couldn't find IMO anything worthwhile in positing up . . however I am far from one of the better sleuths on this board, in which I ask and encourage the researchers out there to look into Hazar international as deep as they can, and see what dots can be stuck together, because the potential of picking up a few port and airport MSC's on the back of everything thats happening right now, completely transform this AIM stock into a seriously affluent multi million pound a year turnover company.
We are operating in the security sector during unfortunately a never more relevant period of time globally - and the fact that its really quite evident KSA are up to something with their aviation and port expansions, it really does paint a very bright future if PF and his new sheikh mate are playing their cards right . . im intrigued and very bullish.
I'l leave a link to Hazar's current clients - makes for some interesting reading,
https://www.hazarint.com/clientele.php
Exactly tosh, he knows the script already, they're not raising anything until the market has a chance to react to the Tema port financials, and very likely to send us a lot further north from where we are just now!
Another vid from PF, wow! Not seen that guy as much in the last 3 weeks as I had in 3 years . .
Great body language once again - I'm taking from that, Ghana RNS likely predicted to be released next week with the CFO out there, however a cash raise is almost certainly on the cards!
Like was said though, massively undervalued
And as the plot thickens from another surprise RNS, the magnitude of potential that lies around the corner continues to expand.
Is today’s new partnership announcement in direct relation to BIA’s security plan reviews on the new terminal building due to open Q3 2019.

Quite possibly ... as for whatever reason, going off this Job advert from Sept last year, the UK are really getting their teeth into the aviation security sector with Bahrain and Kuwait . . ‘The position supports the high priority work that the UK is doing on aviation security across the globe, specifically in Bahrain and Kuwait’
https://fco.tal.net/vx/mobile-0/appcentre-ext/brand-2/candidate/so/pm/4/pl/1/opp/7033-Aviation-Security-Coordinator/en-GB
Kuwait did you say? That’s interesting .. seeing as though for the first time ever, it’s looking like they’re wanting to outsource their Aviation and yep, you’ve guessed it ... Port, Contracts to the private sector...
https://gulfbusiness.com/kuwait-mulls-new-law-allow-private-sector-manage-airport-ports/
Kuwait !? What a country that our new Saudi head boy’s Hazar International has historically been engaged in? Coincidence ?
All just potential, maybe . . But if you dig around a bit, there’s too many dots to be connected and that’s just from information available within the public domain. So surely you have to ask yourself . . Why all these partnerships, and why now? And not only that, but what’s in it for our new partnering friends ?! Why would they go through all this hassle, unless there was something brewing and they saw WSG as a piece in their jigsaw puzzle to reach the honey?
I’ve said it all along, and maintain it today ... joint ventures and partnerships are the most powerful tool WSG could use if they want to become players in these regions of the world. It not only builds networks, it opens doors to the right offices, it’s favourably looked upon from the said regional authorities, and when a home based organisation is perceived to be equally benefitting ... its much more likely to sign and seal longer term recurring contracts.
Well done WSG
You after a job with the company’s PR team mr Marbella?
Just IMO
Good digging as always Eskers - brilliant sign that there's already Ghanian nationals employed by WSG working at the Tema port - I'm no expert on Ghanian employment law, however I would suggest that both employers and employees require a contract of employment, and this is yet again more confirmation we are good to go!
The market awaits the financials . .
Hopefully thats the young buck muted for a while
