801 is a distinct possibility that it could well be on flow test very soon in my opinion and that opinion is based on research . If it's going to flow test when it's reached its peak pressure I would say it's almost at that Point . Why well I'm sure you all have done your research on other wells in the area at around the same depth, well coffee will have and mo .
As for CPR I can't research that as we are waiting for news (just a date ).

Now I do agree that this is Caspian so it could be on test tomorrow or next year but research suggests in the next week or 2..

801 can't be far off and hope news before Christmas on a flow test . Cpr as well .....Bring it on .

Any thinking about what we have CPR Wise on the shallows at 10.6 sq km. 100/200 million recoverable or more / less . Just asking.

Well whatever caspian have done it's certainly worked for once just hope they can get a continuous flow test this time as this company could do with some great news on the deeps . Find out soon enough.

Plus mate they must be over the moon as it stands at 485 bar considering only a few weeks ago they said this.

The pressure build-up in Deep well 801 since Caspian's last update has been steady, exceeding the Company's initial expectations, and now stands at approximately 360 ATM (5292 psi)

What do you think Mo, maybe another week or 2 before it's ready to go and it certainly would be a great Christmas present for us all.

Nobody was expecting 801 to be almost ready . Now from what I can gather ( and no one has mentioned this yet) is that 801 has never had pressure greater than 300 ever.

Deep well 801
Following extensive chemical cleaning the pressure in the well has grown to 240 bar. Our intention is to open the well for testing once the pressure reaches 300 bar. That was 2 years ago.

So from Caspians latest update we have pressure of 485 bar which is more pressure than A5 was so to me that reads in the last few weeks that have worked the well and had fantastic readings on pressure and its still building but its got to be very close to complete as ive been looking at some old Russian well depths and pressure readings from drills and we are around around average. Minimum bopd is 2300 and max upto around 8000 but average is around 3400.
So 801 has increased it's pressure by 185 bar and looking extremely good to put on test any time soon.

Put it another way they have increased 801 pressure by double so we have got to be very happy with that but just got to wait for them to start testing it. I just want to get a deep online to prove to market they can and have found a solution to the deeps.

I have spoken to both AP and Roy and they believed it was more likely to be a stand alone operation on site . If you research you would understand why this is the better option for the tailings. Look at romania's history on this subject which is not good. BP certainly does have the ability to process the Faneata tailings which would certainly push the grades up but it's all about the environmental impact . The are many tailings dams in Romania that are worth a fortune and need sorting but it,s going to take time .

Where does it state 100% that BP will be processing the Faneata tailings.

Like I said it's over stretching itself , it's pretty obvious by what we're seeing at the moment. I keep hearing the same old same old but the fact is Vast need a big injection of money and soon.

Think it's called over stretching itself. While the asset base is outstanding Vast should have pulled back a bit and concentrated on the few and not the many. BP is an outstanding asset but will take a while to bring online and into profit . Many many tens of millions of pounds required to bring these assets online.

As previously announced our policy at Deep Well 801 is to wait until the pressure in the well reaches its natural peak before opening the well and commencing a flow test. The pressure in the well continues to rise steadily and by 27 November 2018 had reached 485 bar..

A5 was around 470 bar and looking at info around us and depth of wells we are about there but could go to just over 500 bar so could be any day . Let's focus on a bit on good news thats come our way instead on the other way round .

Dave what does it matter to you as you have said early next year Caspain will be bankrupt. For a person who's not in you show tremendous interest in this company hmmm..
We could have a deep on flow test way before we all thought so I'm delighted with that . If we get one on flow test it will be April before results anyway but it will be the fact we have done it and proved the deeps can flow.

Only been here myself mate a few weeks so just picking up on what the company is all about. Still absolutely huge profit coming eElands way over the next month or 2.

Would be over moon with that and like I said anything above is a huge bonus. Would be delighted to get one on flow before Christmas

It's gone from 360 to 485 in a few weeks and still going. I think it's actually higher than A5 was (shut in) . The company said in the last rns that it was exceeding their expectations well now they must be dumpling around at that reading of 485. Nice.

Yes mate at I would say a couple of weeks to peak . To be honest coffee I would be absolutely over the moon with 2000 bopd and anything more is a big bonus.
