I believe Caspian are close to achieving its first deep but just got to wait and see. Working on A5 then straight onto the other deeps to do the deep spot acid job by BH.
Getting a deep on flow test will be company changing news for Caspian and with news on mjf coming in through out the year I can only see the shareprice being a lot lot higher.
If they get a couple of deeps and most of mjf done production should be arond 400% higher so that would definitely be a significant re-rate in on the cards.

Jesus just been told some unbelievable news yesterday and now a case of waiting on other news to put everything together and that's the gamble here. If they do God knows what the shareprice would be worth but many many times today's value. Sit back and relax and if it takes 3 months or more so what .

Hopefully news Friday or early next week on A5 as tubing should've been onsite yesterday and up to 3 days to do. So close but yet so far.

Just have to wait for next news but if all done this will be far far beyond this price so just a case of taking a position and sitting back as I'm in no rush. Even taking a hit on the 12% to say 6% equates to over 4 billion so more than happy to wait.

While I'm f..off about the deeps at present I do understand the problem they have. Spent a few hrs looking around us and was surprised be just how long it's taken to get the deeps to flow for most in Kazakhstan. These wells at around 4200 to 5300mtrs are some of the deepest wells in the world and not only that they also have huge pressure problems and heat.
The more I go into Fields in Kazakhstan the more I am starting to be able to place what we have done in a better context relating to time frames and budget.
First for me is the fact we just can't compete in same way most others in this country can as these companies have billions of pounds to spend and basically we have a few million.
So ten years have seen Caspian slowly start building the company assets up to the point where we are now with mjf doing ok but with the infill gaining pace will be an outstanding asset by year end .
The deeps is the by far the hardest to bring online as research tells us but we have 4 still in play and the company is working to get the first one online but restrained by budget which is not the case all around us.
I believe we have done ok to this point on the budget we have to work with and by taking a step back and looking at a far bigger picture has helped me in understanding time frames a little
Better instead of shouting my mouth off. Infrastructure needed when the deeps start to flow is unbelievable but a fantastic problem to have but we just see it magically going to market and not the time it takes to complete that prodject.
What I'd like Caspian to do is improve its Communications to the market in a professional way that is clear and precise and on time. Bring someone in that has that ability as Clive is not the man I'm afraid.

They can change it is by get results and clear communication with the market. Results will come we know that just with mjf alone would be fantastic and like I said 2 deeps on flow this year would still be an absolute unbelievable year as production would be way beyond what we do now.
Communication is so important and that's what they really have to work on .
Not as if we can't afford to get someone in to sort it.

Yes but can they go deeper than 3000mtrs as most have hit between 4100 to 4500 mtrs. Tengez / Caspian/Karachaganak/Kashagan to name a few or are they limited to that depth.

Total as far as I'm aware has nothing on its website about selling Dunga but it is spending 300 million on getting production to 20000 bopd and another 400 workers . Agreement signed in July 2019.

3AB as far as I'm aware is not up for sale as total has started spending 300 million over the next 2 years to increase production to around 20000bopd and increase work force by 400. ( on Total website) but I do get the point about doing our drill as if oil found and the size of our acreage around the dunga field would be worth a small fortune and something Total would want being it's under a lot of their field.
Mjf does look very good to increase our production numbers but was always the case they wouldn't complete all wells this year without help but still a big increase for us.
The boat we will have to wait and see going forward.
Not much news on them but all in play and A5 finger crossed will go on test soon.
CPR would be nice on both shallows and deeps once done.
Still looking at an outstanding year if we get a couple of deeps on test and mjf infill mostly done and the odd 3ab well completed.

I have to admit I've been negative over the last few weeks but I have to look at what this company can do to bring in more profit from my investment here. Yes I have of course traded this and done very well but I have always left a core amount in here.
All that matters for everyone is profit and how you do it is of no concern to me . Like coffee I have a large free ride here and I'd like to think some here are the same by working you portfolio over the last few years to achieve that goal.
Am I p.ssed you bet I am but I still see a large profit if the deeps flow and a great CPR to go with it so yes I have to wait but hey I've waited this long and can always adjust my investment as and when required. I look at what we do know with Caspian and i can't deny they have got themselves a fabulous asset and the potential is staggering yet I await the big breakthrough on getting a deep to go on test .
Still haven't got there but getting closer and Coffee is correct when comparing chevron and time frames and little old Caspian and when you take a bloody good look you start to realise we have actually done extremely well while also retaining 100%.
Haven't a clue how it will pan out but hey that's why you get great returns if it all comes together and most here still hold as you can at any point press that button and move on.
Timeframes to profit in a sector like this is very hard to judge if just investing and all that have done so knew that through research from the beginning but everyone has had the opportunity to get out and a lot with some profit but hey you are still in here . Why is that I wonder.

So come on Caspian give us something to talk about that will promote the company in a positive light instead of us being negative towards it.
