Big Dave. You're right. Your income makes no difference to the CGT tax free amount.
You get £12.5k CGT free (or 25K if you're married and your other half doesn't use theirs) regardless of your annual income.
Your income tax does affect the CGT rate after that 12.5K though. If you are in the 20% income tax bracket then you pay 10% CGT until you reach the 40% income tax bracket here you'll pay 20% CGT.
But strangely even though the word squid is wrong, a damp squid could be seen as just as unimpressive as a damp squib.
You must have bought near the midpoint price. It happens.
Because he's shorting here and not there, probably.
The warrants are 12.5p?
That seems a bit steep. Would be nice, as I'd be loaded if we got anywhere near there.
I'm 20% up at the moment.
No TW you said there was an investigation and had an email lfrom the FCA saying so. That was lie and potentially opens you up to a lawsuit.
same on X-o. Still showing 100% down. Think it's probably just jammed so can't get live price info yet.
They're currently listed on the stock exchange as a media company. I'm pretty sure the FCA will suspend if they change the company type. They've done it with other shares before when an rto has changed the company type.
Pretty much down on all shares today. Rubbish day in general. Don't think it was to do with eqt specifically.
Hi. This is my first mining share so a bit unfamiliar with what timescales are for things in the is sector.
The last RNS was confirmation for identification of gold.
What is the process from here? How long does it take to actually start mining stuff and then results from that on whether there is any significant ore?
I'd have assumed it would be months?
7am for EUA
I think there is defo something in all these connections but then AZ also added me and I'm linked to Barack Obama through a guy I met at an IT conference in Miami 12 years ago who ended up being his cyber security advisor.
So LinkedIn connections can get out of hand quite quickly but the timing of AZ adding people is very promising.
I think they probably have missed the boat on mask demand for the general public. Mask requirements will be disappearing by June 21st.
However, I think the government knows they were caught with their pants down regarding PPE so I can see them making a stockpile for future pandemics either centrally or local government. (It's hardly going to be the last time)
It was a struggle for local councils to get masks, gel and other PPE at an affordable price this time. My council eventually managed to fill the basement with approximately 3 months supply to hand out to care home workers, nurses, GPs etc but it was a nightmare for procurement to arrange.
He had shares back when we were at 0.44 and SP dropped. He spouted doom and gloom then and sold out at 0.37ish if I remember correctly.
I think they may have missed the boat for masks now but potentially there could be a need for governments/nhs to stockpile for future pandemics as they were caught with their pants down this time. I work for the government and when we could get supplies, we were trying to build a 3 month stockpile of masks, sanitiser, ppe etc. and companies were trying to rob us blind on procurement so it took a while to find stock at an acceptable price.
Our basement was full of stuff but it was going out the door faster than we could get it.
There are 232,405,020 outstanding shares so technically there could be 232,405,020 RNSs each for a one share warrant.
Or an Obelix?
I assume you mean asterisk and not the Gaul. :-p
I'm diabetic so know it's basically impossible to control BG levels when you're really sick. Body does all kinds of craziness releasing glucose reserves into the body etc.
Never been serious COVID levels of sick and thankfully getting vaccinated tomorrow but i can imagine BG is everywhere with this illness. Still find it odd that BG isn't controlled by a nurse who must surely have to for those that can't manage their own insulin in hospital either because they're in a coma or on ventilators.
Are they saying people are getting diabetes from having COVID?
Obvious fix to hyperglycaemia is insulin but you'd have thought nurses would be monitoring BG levels and administering insulin for people in hospital.
