They complained the deadline of 5th March is too close. But what did the MPs ask when Kamani told them last year that the list of subcontractors will be published in March.....? “Why not sooner? Why not in January?”
If you ignore the day traders, you can see the SP is on a upwards trajectory since the last "bad news" in October. The bad news were actually good news (planned change of auditor, as per legal requirement) misinterpreted.
If you are not a trader, a slow upwards movement is far better than a spike.
Thanks Danl90. What would be useful, is for someone to explain a few times a week what the CEO intentions are. To expand on what he said in the webcast.
This is to prevent others (who have sold and looking for reentry, like rags) make up their own very different and often ridiculously gloomy scenarios about the future of Debs. Guys, good job you are not in charge of Boohoo, your "strategy" sucks!
**** high street! Haven’t shopped there anything but food in 10 years. How about they do something amazing there, instead? A state of the art water park? A jungle in a skyscraper? Several clubs for over 35s to meet, dance and talk? Some for elderly too? There are endless possibilities, 1000000 times more attractive than having filled the town centres with ugly buildings full of rags, as if people have nothing better to do when they go out, than go undress and dress all over again, as if they can’t do this in private, at home? It’s time we go out for an experience we can’t have at home, rather than for something we would rather do there! This concept was wrong to begin with, it only lasted so long because we had no alternative. How difficult is to understand some basic psychology?
That point is also bull****. The average Boohoo customer buys 8 items a year. So does the Topshop or Ted Baker or Reiss customer. Just different pocket sizes. All clothes are disposable, not just the cheap ones.
I don't see what they can achieve...shorters can simply wait for the price to crash, which is inevitable, even if it may take hours, days, weeks or (hard to believe) months. However, if this movement will trigger some new regulations of the shorting market, then YES, I salute this. I hate shorters with passion! I think the market regulators will just stop the trading in these shares until the momentum fades, instead of bringing new regulations.
