Well. I sold all my holding at beginning of June which was perfect timing. Just waiting to get back in. Surprised it hs dropped this far but so have a few of my other growth stocks. Maybe the age-old market adage of sell in May and go away was good advice this year or its just post election shock.

I sold out most of my star quality growth stocks at the beginning of June as they all seemed to have peaked and all have been on a bit of a downward spiral since then. Maybe the age-old market adage of sell in May and go away might have been the best approach but it was sell in June instead. Sell AVN 5 years ago in May 2012 was the best idea for that one. Never know a buyer might come up with 265p for AVN. Good luck MTB.

Well done MTB. I was looking at this recently as sp had come down so much and had seen your comments but missed the boat. Not a bad offer but as always would have expected at bit more.

Not talking about sale of spectrum rights but the high frequency Ka band spectrum which enables Avanti's high throughput satellites to transmit over ten times as much data per satellite than other legacy systems. This significantly reduces end-user costs and creates a very large addressable market. Price reductions versus legacy systems for telecom and government customers of up to 80% hence why so many government customers coming on board. Consumer broadband from as little as $30 per month. In the USA you get charged a lot more at around $60 per month for this type of fast system. I know as I have got one. So shame they can't break in to the US market. Spectrum is valuable. I would not worry about the debt mountain as this comes with the territory. All the best companies have mountains of debt just look at AHT etc.

Hi EJL7. That is interesting. I have also heard that NMC have a good reputation and expanding the business. That should have said 'Barchart'. The auto spell seems to always change that to 'Barnhart' whatever that means.

I bought some of these last week based on latest round of target predictions. Although I see that one has come out with a hold and just 290p target due to the Bank of England warnings over the mounting debt bubble. Still good to see that VM has a strong policy of only lending to those borrowers with a high credit rating. Strong bounce yesterday based on VM's latest statement.

Drop has been more than I expected but has been reflected in a few of the better growth stocks including my other long term favourite cvsg. Now looking like a good time to buy back in to both. Barnhart showing strong support for nmc at the 2097 - 2084 levels. SP bounced off those yesterday and so decided to buy some more and see how we go.

Based on recent trading statements Avanti has won over the last 3 months some $55+ Million in new business. This is based on the $25+ Million in the 2 months to 31st May as notified in Q3 Trading update on 31st May. In addition there has been over $30+ Million within the last month since then. Most of this has not arisen in time to generate material revenue growth in Q3 or Q4 as advised by Avanti in their Q3 statement. If this rate of new business continues then Avanti should be generating substantially more revenue over coming years. Probably why they were able to negotiate the more preferential $100 Million super senior facility. Will be interesting to see how actual income picks up over the next year. Well done to Avanti for all that new business and hard work in what is now an extremely competitive market.

The other plus about the latest US21Million african contracts is that these are government contracts so another positive for Avanti. Along with the new finance deal which was another good bit of negotiation. Us Brits need to see the likes of Avanti develop and prosper to bring in the much needed readies what with Brexit an all. Well done Avanti, keep up the good work. We need you.

Total sales over last year of US62 Million not great and probably due to putting the company up for sale which was not a good idea looking back now. However, the positive development is the amount of new contract wins that have gone through over the last few weeks which I work out to be over US30 Million and almost half last years sales. If Avanti can keep that rate of new contracts going through things should start to look up and might see some market appreciation and take this share out of the doldrums.

I see volume picking up here lately. I have been doing well trading this on the recent lows and highs. Looks like this could start to pick up over coming months towards next launch date which has always given sp a lift along with more contracts coming through. The 25 Million over a two month period was promising so just need to see that continue and might see this back at the £1 level in the blink of an eye. Still happy to hold and trade some along the way as I do like to be proactive in this game. GLA

Given the sp bit of a boost. Should see this move up from here now those restrictions have been lifted.

Not sure where the brain came from. Perhaps the auto spell thinks I need one. Still it does look a bit of a 'steal' then with broker target now at 390p. We shall see.

I see on Bloomberg that the Banks have passed their latest stress test whatever that means. VM. looking a bit of a brain at this level so decided to pick some up this week on the recent low point in the hope of a recovery.

I did notice that. I suppose it is reasonable for a Director to sell off some stock that has gone up over 1000%. See sp seems to have hit a barrier and now pulling back which again is bound to happen at this time of year. I did sell off all my holding at 2350p along with a number of my other stocks that have done well as also felt it was about time to take my cards off the table on most of them. Bought back some NMC this pm.

This one just keeps on getting better although I see brokers now saying hold but with increased target at 2450p. The ones with the quietists boards always seem to do the best over the long term. This is now up 1000% over 5 years. Not bad.

Probably someone who knew about the JV just confirmed today although it was always in the offing. Should see the sp start to make more of a move now.

I did notice that this was part of the Standard Life Global Smaller Companies Fund. This along with another of my favourite stocks NMC are two of it largest UK holdings. Both stocks up over 1000% since IPO. Both have also hit record highs but I am still holding as nothing to stop these continuing to grow which is what growth stocks are all about. Only word of warning on these stocks is that they climb higher and quicker than your main stocks in a bullish market but in a bear market they fall quicker and further which is fair enough.

Good to note that we now have a further increased broker target at 2200 plus the increase in divi. Just goes from strength to strength this one.

Looking good. I keep thinking it can't keep going up but it does. Seems to be totally weather proof to all what is going on everywhere else. Should have put all my money on this one and my other favourite NMC which is another weather proof stock. These both seem to fly under the radar of all the fuss you get with some of the other bigger names out there.
