CB completely agree. Initial potential dividend low especially is we sell a bigger chunk to newcrest so they take all future associated costs and GG get a free ride for the smaller %, but as more potential targets get Proved up such as scallywag then this dividend could grow along side the actual share price. Some of us could have a much larger retirement income then we actually realise
With all these re rates on the cards at each update, scallywag drilling, MRE, phase 4 started, newcrest potential further stake purchase etc. Anyone done the maths on where we could be by this time next year?
If we assume newcrest end up buying 90% of Hav, leaving us with 10% , once up and running what amount realistically could be paid as a dividend annually to share holders?
So the last set of interim drill results RNS was Monday 9th March at 8am. If this follows suit we should be looking at the next interim drill results Monday 8th June at 8am. The lead up has been great so far, hopefully more to come.
Paddy, thank you for the overlays. It looks very promising. What do you think the reasoning is as to why the have stepped so far out with the 3 drills to the north west? I’m no miner but if I was mapping out the resource I would keep stepping out the drilling from the already mapped resource until it stopped. This would reduce the chance of drilling duds. Are Newcrest potentially trying to speed the process up by finding the opposite side if this huge resource?
Personally I hope Newcrest pick off 1 prospect at a time in the Paterson, farm in, do all the drilling, prove up the resource and buy from GGP giving us share holders a fat pay day for each one over the next 4-5 years
Downbutnotout all not fooked, just those who did not read between the lines early enough. I was out at 37p and re invested in Greatlandgold. Very happy now. GLA
Newcrest appear to like to own 100% of everything they mine, if they were to buy just Havieron (so they own 100% of it) and leave scallywag, black hills and patterson range east to Greatland Gold, how would the money filter down to the share holders? And would we still own our GGP shares after the sale?
Guys are there any good videos about that explains some of technical stuff about modern gold exploration techniques, And interpreting the results and terminology used such as step outs etc.
