The Shorters are essentially liable to pay the dividend to the owner I believe. Otherwise they would get the benefit of both the divi and the reduction in SP. This is why they are rapidly closing out their shorts and I am delighted to see. Hopefully they have been split in two. The way they ravaged this one 6 months or so ago is criminal.

TBD - I would think that we will see a reduction in the SP to allow for the reduction in the value of the current company, however as the "experts" were criticizing the US entrance as a relatively poor decision, I would think that there will be interest from PE in this as the UK is what I would imagine they want. I would like to see this back up to 2 pounds a share in 12 months. Thoughts anyone?

I would liek to as well but I don't think it will be possible for a special divi, especially one so large as this. I too agree that this will probably be taken out. I would hope to see 2 pounds a share for it after the distribution.

That is a really interesting idea. Maybe some of the larger holders will put that to the board. I think most people would prefer that solution.

It will have to be voted through by the SH's in November and then I would imagine there will be a timeline for when they expect the transaction to be closed. It will then be announced what dates you will have to be a SH from. I would imagine this will be the process anyways.

Simon...as a SH of the company I fully have the right to complain and moan as much as I want, when you are down 80% on an investment over a year!!! It does not matter what someone else who is not invested says. Simple. No point in pretending that there will be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow just to make it sustainable in your mind.

I can't remember the last day we finished up!!! It's a farce. No point in even e-mailing the company either. only 80% down now!! But as I said...the BOD really do know what they are doing and we will all be OK.

What is going on????? Surely that rise should trigger a short squeeze?? I understand a portion of the growth will not be accounted for in the US going forward but the immediate realization of a divi is surely valuable to any of the larger holders. Who is selling then?
