i spoke to my broker he has no knowledge of a change in heart by MAY but he did say this has generated an awful lot of calls to people wondering why it has gone up so much in a week on the promise of delisting next week. Could it be that the deal by whoever bought them out a new share offer under a new name would be offered to holders of MAY?

best keep to the relevant boards people get very irritated by talking about other shares......i can see their point but how else can you communicate? about this share i think its going to drop again the building industry is not quite ready for what they offer give it 3 months and interest in what they sell will be there im sure, as all other sectors order books are looking good, im flat out with projects i think we are at the other end of a messy u bend on the way up

this company has mirrored TW interms of its gains possibly not ready for lofty heights a bit overcooked i think

it looks all good from what i see very good materials....any ideas

by all accounts they are delisting not sure if final dayof trading is tommorow or monday, not sure what happens to these shares after as you still have them is it wise to sell up or is there every chance we will get approached by th company who has bought out mapley by the back door?

why the interest?

There is talk of an interest in the managed division of Punch, obviously they are in trouble as we know and have tried to offload to every brewer except GK. My view and it is that is that GK could possibly looking to aquire some of these as they have a substantial war chest from the financing of properties to raise capital through setting up mortgages i believe in the sum of £350M now that was al done i think with AXA before the major crash in October 2008. So as these compaines start going pop it leaves the medium size fish like GK to flex the muscle. However there has been talk of Braines in wales as a target and a company up north, but not sure who that is......but what intersts me is generally all leisure shares have moved on the back of nothing is this hope is it false will there be a retrace who knows but im enjoying it :-)

this stock hasnt moved for days i cant understand why there is such a huge spread of 33% any reason?
