Still love the company and the story having been in for best part of 6+ years and bought many highs and dips and averaging old money of 8.4p so still in green at the moment. Yes we have gone through some transformational change and I ultimately believe it will all come good.
Saying that, still can’t shake the disappointment and Jane tomorrow or the next day, next year, 2-3 years or 5-10 years feeling. Telling the wife who is also heavily invested to stay positive is starting to fall on deaf ears. Hav pushed to 2027 as focussing on Telfer and now we have had best part of 30% wiped off in a week with no doubt more to come.
Seen it all before with Scallywag and then again when we dropped into the 5’s and kept the faith. I/we still are and have no need to sell for quite a while (hopefully). This isn’t a ramp or de-ramp, just honest feelings that I told myself the ASX would change things, it hasn’t. Then it was quarterly results and it hasn’t so the reality is what is actually going to change this SP? It can only be another monster hit, JV on use of the mill or stellar update on Hav, or else the reality is nothing is likely to change until Hav in 2027…… and at this point it feels like we will get to that (hopefully) and then ‘something’ else will crop up that holds us down.
Hence the jam tomorrow heading. It actually feels like jam 2030 which as a LTH feels like I’m in for another long haul of waiting years for any significant upside. I’ve been very chatty to friends and family on this share but it’s feeling like a broken record. Also before anyone comes out and says ‘sell then’ or ‘why are you here’ - I’ve said already in a LTH and not going anywhere but it’s also fine to feel a bit flat about it all.
