AVO got excellent medium term prospects but still need a lot of cash to get through to profitability
Want to invest but got a feeling there is going to be a placing at mates rates to motivate the long term backers of the company including the BOD
This will be the signal for me to buy

" together with exciting low risk assets over Kiliwani and the shelfal region of Nyuni, which can be monetised in the near-term"
Jay and his Bull
Near term - No chance as no cash
Expect another placing with the promise of riches to all who participate and another shafting for the LTH
SorB thanks for the input but i am sure i read from one of the guys that attended the AGM (btw thanks a lot for the info) that the main reason that they made the placing with SC (1,3mil) is that end of 2018 they would have only ca 200k
If thats the case then considering admin expenses for 2019 there wont be much left for drilling in 2019
Maybe one of the posters that attended the AGM could comment if possible.
It would be more than welcome
GLA
Anybody got any thoughts reference to drilling in 2019 ?
If i understood correctly we will have ca 1,5 mil going into 2019.
Will KOD raise another 2 mil through a placing or concentrate only on the mine so a minimal amount of drilling to expand the resources in 2019 ?

My real worry, with all this negativity flying about , is that Ken and the BOD will panic and make a rash decision that will cost the company and SH's med/long term
Its clear the issues of supply and cost of guardian is an actual problem but its nothing that they cannot recover given time
They had > 40 mil A$ end of june so enough to keep them going till well into next year and if they need to rasie then IMO it could be done easily at e decent SP to get them well into 2020.
I hope they stick to thier guns as,at the moment ,they have a product/s that nobody else has

Amo is below not an ROI ?
"For new investors could 2/3 bag in 3/4 years providing all runs as planned but why buy now "
Maybe you should re read my post again to understand where i am coming from considering i have been a SH for may years unfortunately
Only chance of AEX hitting 10p is a 10 to1 consolidation unfortunately
For new investors could 2/3 bag in 3/4 years providing all runs as planned but why buy now ?
For LTH like me Zubs and Jay have bent them over a barrel and given them a right good old roggering
40 Mil $ for 50% of Rum considering AEX have spent 10's of million on it and the area has potential for 5TCF (equivalent to ca 830 mil barrels of oil so Zubs paid 10 cents / barrel for the potential )
Your having a laugh Jay
Hi Anth72
Hi Anth72
I think the governments take is 26 % so we go from 16 to 20 months
Less than 2 years for an investment of 1,8 billion in an asset that will produce for 25 years. Unbelievable !!!
With oil approaching 80$ and a potentail oil crunch in a couple of years
Big oil companies will be awash with cash very soon if oil remains where it is !
A perfect storm brewing for BOR and its shareholders
I am hoping for a very positive RNS when the results are issued in September
GLA
With a project payback of 2/3 years with 65 $ oil and 1,8 Bill $ investment what is the payback at 80$ oil ?
When up and running it will be a huge cash cow
Another potential billion barrels of resources in close proximity
The above keeps me invested, with a large wedge ,here
A partner with deep pockets has got to bite sooner or later
Keep the faith
GLA
Think you right IK
Just looking back in the old presentation extract below for the first well
1 year to plan, 120 days to drill
• ADTI FEED Study completed
• Anticipated well cost: $120 million
• 3D Seismic data to safely plan well
• Water depth at location: 1,500 feet
• Planned well depth: 22,500 feet
• Drilling rig advanced safety mechanisms
At todays rates ca 60 mil for 120 days drilling
Thanks Jim
I was asking as CHAR are drilling offshore Nambia with a well cost of between 20-25 mil$
I cannot believe that the BPC well would need much more $ as its not ultra deepwater
If the cost was similar to CHAR then we could almost go it alone or make a consortium with service providers that is all the rage at the moment
Maybe thats what MQ have in mind !
Anybody have an idea what 1 well would cost ?
thanks
MQ are IMO the key to the door for BPC
I also expect, if the door is opened ,that the future partners will ask BPC to put some skin in the game but it means also that BPC will retain a bigger slice of the pie
A 1 for 2 right issue at 2 p would rasie ca 20 mil $
Mr Potter,if your reading this and a raise is coming , ensure that the PIs can participate fully to maintain their share holding if they wish !!!!
Good luck with that Stew but think what happens to your short if there is a deal waiting in the wings organised through MQ
I havgot a feeling we will soon find out
